I got bored last season, never mind this. The new V6 just meant we switched Red Bull dominance for Mercedes dominance. Hamilton saw the tide coming, and switched at the right moment. The farcical "rivalry" between Rosberg and him was nonsense designed to create a drama that wasn't there. Plus Hamilton has become a dick.

Imo they need to have identical cars across the grid. Then see who the best driver is.

But then it becomes Indy Car. I'd rather they are all limited to the same engine and limitations on dimensions of the vehicles but, other than that, allow them to develop the rest of the motor as they see fit - everything from brakes to cooling, aerodynamics to overall design - otherwise the teams become basically line-workers. There are designers and engineers of serious talent out there, would be a shame to waste them.

Shows the sorry state F1 is in when Alonso and Button fooling around is more interesting than the Brazilian GP. I think I've spent more time looking at #PlacesAlonsoWouldRatherBe than I have watching the race.

There are a lot of single chassis formulas... I don't think we need another. F1 is about the pinnacle of all disciplines - designers, engineers and drivers. It's just a shame that technological advances over the last few decades has taken a lot of the focus away from the drivers.

I tend to watch Monaco most years, it's the race most prone to have something exciting happen, either some outstanding skill or a crazy crash, but with rain involved it's almost guaranteed. Sadly, where it used to be exciting, now they turn the whole thing into a health & safety exercise - six laps under safety car, was it?

Anyway, poor lad in the renault - zebra crossing paint. how unlucky is that?

If I was the pit manager and Hamilton refused his order to come in, I'd make him wait 90 seconds when he did come in as the crew finish their fags and espressos.

He is such a twat

Tip of the hat to whoever put Magnusson's Renault together - that things spent more time in the barrier than some of the stewards, yet it's still going :joyful:

Ricciardo's pit stop basically just blew it for him, bar a cock up from Hamilton.

Haha, such a bunch of children :D that's hilarious, Sauber boss will be chewing his way through the floor of the team bus to get at them both.

This is shaping up to be a pretty exciting conclusion anyone who's tuned out

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Ricciardo had a face like a smacked arse. And what were the 2 Sauber drivers doing?

Take whichever side you like, but both Mercedes drivers are chumps. There's something unlikable about both of them.

not seen the race just images of the collision, Rosberg just didn't turn in and was happy to run Hamilton off the track. seems like Rosberg is under investigation

Hamilton is calm, not quite Kimi or Ricciardo levels but close and he knows how to piss off Rosberg who IMO cracks very easily.

Rosberg was an idiot crash was his fault but your right both are not the most likeable characters. Mercedes themselves actually in this race caused the crash really, two poor tyre changes for Hamilton, wrong tactic left him out too long let rosberg avoid the undercut v poor from the team.

I've liked Hamilton less and less each season, he acts so entitled all the time, never wants to accept blame etc. - now, an incident where he genuinely wasn't to blame and i want to blame him just out of spite. Equally though, i used to really rate Nico, he seemed really likeable, but he has shown he also has that petty streak in him that means he'd rather get rekt than accept when you've been bested.

I'd probably do the same, don't get me wrong, but i doubt Nico would've slammed the door like he did if it was, for example, Alonso or Vettel pushing him on that corner - the relationship between the two of them has dissolved, despite all the talk of the respect they held for each other, mates since karting etc. to the point where they're taking swipes at each other on and off the track. Don't expect Nico to be there next year if it carries on.

A pure bread racer in Hamilton and a tactician/strategist in Rosberg. Different ends of the spectrum engaging in battle. Neither are chumps. Both just want to do what it takes to win.

Hamilton is dislikeable because he comes across now as a completely spoilt brat.
All too keen to show off about who he's hanging out with.
In his defence, it doesn't affect what he does come race day, and he'd be up shit creek if it did, but he needs to learn about humility.
Don't see any other F1 driver behaving like he does. I guess he thinks he's a throwback to the likes of Hunt in the 70s.

All F1 racing drivers think they are better than everyone else. Difference is Hamilton actually is better than anyone else on the track. Give him the car and he will give you the win.

Rosberg is just a whiny little bitch who cannot compete. #whoamIwithoutmyfamousdad
