The fuel thing is his teams fault not Hamilton's. His pit crew are at fault for all those terrible pit stops this season also.
Dont they have to do the same after the race, have so much fuel to get back to pits and be tested? yet last race 2 cars stopped right after the finish and no penalties......
i thought that with regard to Vettel, but assumed that it was because that was effectively the end of the competition, where as Hamilton had this episode midway thru. Dont know. Im sure we will find out from Eddie and DC closer to the race.
Controversy seems to follow Hamilton around, despite his best efforts to avoid it. Just a shame he has used an extra set of softs.
Still, this should make for another exciting race............
Indeed I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton switched to a two stopper if he is on Hard atmWhat is it with McLaren's pit stops this year, just can't get it right.
Was a brilliant race, full of drama and excitement. Well done Alonso for finishing second and especially well done to Maldenado for his maiden F1 win in only his 24th GP. Nice to see Jonny Herbert and Damin Hill in the pit ground watching this amazing feat.
Oh dear at Schumi and Senna, whoopsy!
In all honesty, neither can I, as my dad said, Schumi should've known better as Senna had a blind spot. What about Kuboyashi (spelling) on his over taking manouvers, I am starting to like him although a bit wreckless sometimes, he does like to take his chances. We had 2 incidents in the pits as well today, The rear wheel gun and what happened to the mechanic? I had on drivers view at the time so didn't have a good view!
I can't wait until Monaco, tight street circuit which will get all the cars up with the sheer grunt of the mercedes engine. p.s. WHAT was going on with the red bull's front end plates? I thought I did see on one the upper wing on the right hand side (looking onto the wing) was a bit loose but other than that!
