Verstappen, despite comfortably winning the title, refused to give Perez his place back which could cost him and the team second spot in the drivers championship.

That child is an utter skid mark of a human being. How he has any fans beside prepubescent twitter warriors is beyond me. Dickhead.
Completely bang on mate, is there was anyone who had any respect left for him still it should be gone after today.

“It’s not what you achieved of did on this Earth that you will be remembered for it’s how you made people feel”

We’ll Max makes everyone feel like shit, even the other weekend when his team messed up a pit stop and he sarcastically said “what was that guys that was really lovely thanks so much” after all the amazing pit stops they’ve done all season to help him win and they do one bad one and he shits on them, utter twat. Even arselicker Horner will be getting annoyed with Max now.

Verstappen really is an odious little prick and it makes it even more of a travesty that he was gifted his first world title which denied Hamilton his record.

It's a close tie between Brazil and Belgium. With merciful weather, Spa is probably my favorite
By merciful weather I hope you mean an absolute monsoon. Spa is great in the rain. One of the best GPs I’ve ever watched was the 1998 one where it was absolute chaos.

Only if the monsoon confines itself to the open areas of the track - once that water starts to congregate in the forest sections, it can turn it into a gondola race. Dry qualifying, race that starts dry and ends wet at Spa = perfect

I don't think Binotto needs to leave - but they should take a fresh look at the strategy team - way too many errors for a team of their caliber.

Looks like Schumacher is out at Haas, with Nico Hulkenberg replacing him.

Outside chance of Schumacher landing at Williams if Logan Sargeant does not get enough points to earn his license (needs to finish 8th in F2, currently sitting 3rd). Otherwise, he could end up at Merc as a reserve driver.

Ho hum race.

But, got exciting for 2nd. Glad to see Leclerc held on. I hope Checo remembers this next season.

I am happy to see the back of this season, hopefully next year its a bit more competitive.

Haha, Schumacher tagging Latifi was my highlight. If that had even been middle of the grid it'd have been an inquest but it felt very much like, "Ah, kids are playing" and nobody cared.

Shit season, can't take the record wins away from Max though. Lewis just wanted that race over with, Russell was keen after last week but the car just didn't quite have it, and Sebastian Vettel, the former villain of the track and Lewis' ex-nemesis - tikaboo, son. Great shift, enjoy whatever you go on to do next.

Poor season, I don't see anyone knocking Red Bull off the top spot for a while.

I think they will finish behind Mercs and Ferrari next season...

Ferrari already have the better qualifying car - they need to work on the race set-up and tactics.

I think Mercedes closed the gap quite a bit from the start of the season.

The only question is whether the Red Bull have an engine advantage - they might. But, if the 3 teams are competitive with each other - teammates could be the difference. I'm not sure Checo will work as hard for Verstappen, and we know Verstappen won't work for Checo.

Yeah, fully suspect a lot more work is going on behind closed doors on next year's cars, probably since about 15 minutes into FP1 of the first race, but like BB says, Ferrari have a good car, they were let down by tactics, frustration from the drivers and poor luck on race days. They've been experimenting more than a lot of other teams with their wings and aero it seems, which is all useful data and they had nothing to lose.

Mercedes' car is a thousand times better than the dolphin they had a few months ago and Russell is looking like a time trav... I mean, a genuine talent. Again, tactics and luck shit out on them a few times, just like the horse, and what was going on with the tyres for both teams, who the hell knows.

Haas have put themselves in a great position to challenge mid table next year, and Aston Martin and Alpine shouldn't be too upset by the progress they've made either. There's probably been more progression from the back of the grid this year than I've ever seen, closing the gap in the rear of the pack, it's up to Mclaren and... Well, just Mclaren really, to step up or risk being sucked into a really competitive mid card next year.

Red bull will, once again, be Red bull. They will try to stretch rules and regulations but hopefully there will be some more serious competition from Ferrari & Merc enough that they can't bully their way to wins like this year.

Lots of off-season news. Ferrari have a new principal, which led to moves at McLaren and Alfa Romeo (soon to be Audi)

Mick Schumacher is back, as a reserve driver for Mercedes.
