McLaren have been an exciting team to watch for the last half of the season.

Norris and Piastri two of the more likable drivers on the grid.

Too bad they didn't have the car figured out for the first half of the year. Once they got out of the tractors they have been a lot of fun to watch.

Another boring season with max winning his second title so early in the year. God I hope two or three teams can genuinely challenge for races next season.

If McLaren improves further & Mercedes can put in the necessary improvements on the new concept they introduced mid season, both teams can challenge RB a bit more, IMO. Maybe not ultimately win but could stop RB from sowing up both titles not even 2/3 of the way through. Ferrari just cant make the same mistakes next season that they’ve consistently made the last 2 seasons. Especially since McLaren & Mercedes seem to be ripe for big improvements.

Not sure if I want to watch as the tires being shit might make it interesting, or everyone doing the same means not much happens.

We just need one driver/team in the top 8 to be aggressive and not play it safe.

Do what Mercedes did in Singapore.

WTF?

Not sure that was Russell's fault, he had no where to go, but that's Mercedes race over, Paistri looking good at the moment, want Norris to climb a few places now and get racing

The same happened yesterday in the sprint, the car in the middle can't do anything.

Everytime Merc has a legitimate shot, in comes George Russell to save the day. Just lift your foot & give way to your teammate & lead driver whose fighting for P2. As a driver for a team, your job is to race for your team. Bottas recognized that & gave way when he needed to as it helped the team. Russel still has not realized that & it only hurts him just as much as his team. This isnt Williams, George. You are not the lead driver. Get it through your head already. Wins will come for you. Just as they did Valtteri.

Well done by McClaren double podium.

Going to end up catching Aston Martin in the standings at this rate, considering they were driving tractors at the start of the season that would be a hell of an accomplishment.

Both drivers look like they're really enjoying themselves as well, great to see it. We already knew Norris had talent but Piastri has really carried his form from F2 into the big cars, good luck to him.

Hearing about the health of the drivers after the race & seeing the pictures, im wondering how the hell F1 thought it was safe to race in those conditions? Lance Stroll stumbling out of his car & stumbling to the ambulance, driver vomiting, drivers fainting after the race, driver having the courage to retire mid race before he fainted in the car. Lando, Oscar & Max just passed out in the podium room. Unbelievably unsafe.

Russell has really wound me up this season (after being a fan of his at Williams) and I agree around his general attitude. But to pin that incident on him yesterday is silly. Hamilton has all the space in the world on the left and knows he's making a risky move on the outside cutting across to reach the Apex first. Was a rather rookie thing to do on turn 1 of lap 1.

Formula one has, and has always been about the cash. Circuits aren’t selected for their racing potential, the popularity with fans, or indeed the safety of the drivers. It’s all about who will pay to host a race, who will bring the most sponsors, and who will exert enough political influence that localities will bend their laws to cater to the F1 machine.

Sure there are a few legacy tracks that will invariably get selected over and over, but it’s no surprise that the majority of races are held in dictatorships and banana republics.

Yep. If F1 wasnt solely about money, Watkins Glen would still have a race. Alas, upstate New York’s not Miami or an oil republic.
