Tiger tied for the lead. If he wins I think I'd cry tears of joy. Would be so good to see him get another green jacket and major

Nice to see Spieth struggling, the dislikable little turd.

He is a twat at times. Never stops moaning.

Outside of golf from what I've read and seen on social media he is a lovely bloke but as a golfer he is ultimately unappealing

He messed up his last 2 holes. Finished 1 over and 4 behind. Early days but he had 5 birdies as well which is good.

Rory 7 shots behind the leaders now. Can't see him clawing that back. Another year slips by but at 29 there's plenty of time.

7 shots is a pretty tough ask though, he would have to play some of the best golf of his life to get back in contention for me. If he had stayed 1 under, I think he would have been in with a shout but dunno. Should be a good weekend of golf, looking forward to it. I'm still thinking Rahm, Molinari and Woods will be up there by the end of Saturday.

I reckon the old war horse Mickelson will still be in contention last day....the guy just never knows when he's beat.
He's 14/1 at the moment before round 2. Worth a small wager I reckon.

7 shots after r1 wouldn't normally be insurmountable for a golfer like Macilroy but the names at the top are too good for him to get back to the top. I hope he does but not confident though.

He had 5 birdies yesterday. If he cuts out the silliness from the tee that he had yesterday he will be up there on Sunday.

Poults takes the outright lead. Don't think i have ever liked an Arsenal fan as much!
