Whats that? Players that can't last 90 mins because we signed natural talent and not athletes?

Nah, more a lack of backbone and leadership when under the cosh at the business end of games. Jenas and Zokora, for example are both athletes, but you wouldn't want them in the trenches with you.

If it wasn't for those 2 we would be down a lot more goals when you have Hud, Lennon etc needing to be subbed because they are out of gas.

I thought it was obvious and have been preaching this for over a year. Our players can PLAY, but they can't compete. For every stout pro like Hutton we have 3 or 4 skillful players with no self motivation off the pitch.

Player like Klinsmann used to stay behind for extra practice. Players like Lennon go straight to get his eyebrow buzzed and off the the clubs.

BAGS of talent, but we pick the wrong mentalities almost every time.

Perhaps we should sign some more West Ham players. Fourth from bottom in the half time table. Them boys must be athletes, eh?

Stand in the corner, face the walls and think about what you just said.

YOu are getting "athletes" mixed up with "talentless shite"

But he does have a point. At least they seem to last and play better over 90's considering they still finished ahead of us.

It's not that hard to finish above us without getting relegated.

He said the words "West Ham". And "should come to Spurs" and I can't deal with bombshells like that.

the most surprising thing that this tells me is actually in the top scorer charts, Chelsea dont have a single player in the top 15 scorers (including anelka whose 11 goals listed were at bolton)

yet they score 1 less than us and finish second

:sleepy::sleepy::sleepy: "West Ham..no...come to Spurs (fights with bedsheets)...hate them..no West Ham..."(wakes up from nightmare)

It was pretty obvious Cheeseman was being sarcastic. In any case we didn't seem to do too badly with Kanoute, Carrick and Defoe from West Ham.

There was something in the mail last week about us being the top team for throwing away points from winning positions, 33 points lost in total. We also hit the woodwork more than any other team, 15 times in total.
