Who's the massive lad in the middle between Gunter and Teemu? Only one I can think of that big is Thudd, but unless he's had a haircut and some plastic surgery, it doesn't look like him to me. Any suggestions?

He is MASSIVE, he's a full head taller then anyone including Berbatov and he's further back in the picture! Must be Pekhart cos in the reserves pics he is always taller then anyone else.

BTW GDS is listed as a striker in the squad profile lists, interesting... does not look like he is playing on the left.

If that's Peckhart, why would we ever need Crouch?

Having seen Ramos' Seville boot us out of the UEFA last year it is clear Midfield & Strikers need pace, technique + adaptability and all of Modric, Dos Santos, Bale, Gilberto Berbatov, Keane & co fit that model.

In this context I also suggest Steed could do a job as DM.

Perhaps Dan can comment on whether the search for players is tied to tactical positions or more likely players who can adapt and play the "Ramos Way". (GK's excluded, of course)

If Bentley can solve our dead ball delivery then allelujah - however, the Spurs way is to play it to feet not aerial bombardment, so let's not get carried away.

Actually, this just in........ Berbs, Keane, Lennon and a few others have all been sold.
