Big necrobump.
What I'd like to know is how can anyone genuinely take their wife's medicine by mistake? It's the dog ate my homework of bullshit excuses.
Andre Onana: Ajax goalkeeper handed 12-month suspension for doping violation
Andre Onana failed a doping test in October; Ajax will appeal the 12-month suspension at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, claiming the doping offence was committed unwittingly; Onana said it was the result of human mistakewww.skysports.com
Yeah it's not exactly a heavy substance by the sound of things so a three or six month ban after appeal seems likely. Ajax have really screwed the pooch with the Haller incident, no malice of course just a massive balls up.I don't think it's "I took it by mistake" as such.
It's more "my wife had medication, I took it, but didn't check on it's content"
It's somewhat idiotic to take someone else's prescribed medication anyway.
I think he will get it reduced to 3 months max on appeal.
Double blow for Ajax as they somehow managed to forget to add Sebastien Haller to their Europa League squad registration this week, so he's now only available for domestic competition.
As I’ve said before, if you think doping only happens in cycling and athletics then you are very naive.
