Big necrobump.

What I'd like to know is how can anyone genuinely take their wife's medicine by mistake? It's the dog ate my homework of bullshit excuses.

I don't think it's "I took it by mistake" as such.
It's more "my wife had medication, I took it, but didn't check on it's content"

It's somewhat idiotic to take someone else's prescribed medication anyway.

I think he will get it reduced to 3 months max on appeal.

Double blow for Ajax as they somehow managed to forget to add Sebastien Haller to their Europa League squad registration this week, so he's now only available for domestic competition.

Yeah it's not exactly a heavy substance by the sound of things so a three or six month ban after appeal seems likely. Ajax have really screwed the pooch with the Haller incident, no malice of course just a massive balls up.

As I’ve said before, if you think doping only happens in cycling and athletics then you are very naive.

Adding to that, considering the ridiculous amount of money generated by football, to think that there isn't a massive amount of corruption around the game would also be extremely naive.

Wherever there is money there will be people cheating and conniving to grab a share of it- and the more money there is, the greater the level of corruption will be.
