So... Is he really the manager to get us that elusive trophy? There'll be a lot of angry people on the forum but I think if the die hard Poch fans are honest they'll admit this has been a shite week for the club. And to be honest it was obvious this would be the outcome from literally the first few minutes of the City game. The mood and tempo was set for the week. It was that obvious to me. But alas there will be people fiercely disagreeing with me.

I feel Poch have shown clearly he's a weak manager these last few games with his in game management and if it's not glaringly obvious to anyone then I feel sorry for all those who Poch fans for the next couple of seasons. You're in for a rough ride!

Whilst he is clearly the right man, his attitude towards the FA Cup this week was nothing short of disgusting. He let us as a football club down.

He speaks a lot of character and mentality. But where is it? Everytime we play an important game, there is a lack of character and mentality.
suppose you missed the chelsea games, arsenal games, city games, real, juve....
facking ridiculous --- the only joke at our club are our fans, utterly incapable of seeing that this man has brought us further than anyone has in decades on a shoe string budget. Brilliant coach, shocking fans = THFC

Its not poch that has a ceiling it’s us and this doing things on the cheap.

levy/Enic needs to start backing him with getting our best players the contracts they deserve or we’ll continue to lose them and go round in circles

You could say the same thing about the league playing that weak team against Brighton, continue playing a out of forums striker

Now I feel Pochettinho needs financial backing. I'd rather he's allowed to use all the budget on a marquee signing one or two and maybe a prospect.

think after losing to man city. He panicked a little. tried to compensate by focusing on the semifinal, but decided to be loyal to Vorm and pick the backup keeper in a big match which u threw the previous match to be ready for.

It's so frustrating... Either pick your best. Or don't gamble.

Not sure what happen at half time, but whatever he did wasn't enough. the players were not mentally ready, and we didn't have the fight in us.

his mentality needs to change, not only the squads, his pre match comments does not do him any favours, especially the way we performed in the second half

Wouldn't blame Vorm tbh. Our fullback are totally crap we can't keep clean sheets now.

It's back to the drawing board as a team club we need to keep going it's really time now to stop knocking on the door and really bulldozering. We really need to be much more tighter.... So frustrating ?

This is the main factor to us losing, or rather not winning any titles.. Poch simply is incapable of mentally preparing the players before and during games we must win.

Get in a proper manager who's mentally strong and capable of replacing the untouchables when they're just not up to it.

bet you weren't saying that when we were flying in the first half.
Eriksen doesn't scuff the shot, Dembele doesn't have a brain freeze and this convo ain't happening....

I don't think we'll win a trophy under him now but he will get us into the top 4 consistently. I think he will end up being the person who laid the foundations for the next manager to get us success but we would be nowhere near this point without him.

At the end of the day, poch needs to start winning trophies. I can also understand his disappointment on Toby but to put his point ahead of a chance to win a trophy if really fucks me off.

I hate to play the blame game, I hate pointing the finger in a team game.

But Poch bottled it today.

Where he earns his pay check is at HT and subs.

We could have changed the game. Go to a 5-4-1 and give the FB more space to run into, spreading the game out.

We could have put Dele up top and played a 4-4-2. Juz giving Kane a bit more space to work with, and get more crosses in.

Once Man U got in front, we needed to change our approach. It was broken, the team was broken. He needed to fix it.

I love him and he is the best we have had in decades BUT he is lacking - at the moment - a real 'win at all costs' mentality, or at least it hasn't translated to the players.

? Poch?

come on mate....how is Poch to blame for that shit show from Dembele, Harry going missing?
Mate! You have totally misread my comments. I am nowhere near blaming him!!!

I am merely stating where we NEED to improve. And those saying we don’t need an alternative striker to HK, as we have ‘Sonny’ is a great example. And in your point of Dembele, I agree with you.

There was absolutely nothing he could of done different today. It just exposes where we are lacking. Hope I have explained myself?
