It's just Perry Groves trolling mate, he was just telling Chelsea fans how yesterday's events are the beginning of the end for Chelsea, they were furious....he's pretty good at it tbh, it's funny.

Ah makes sense now didn’t know who it was as only just turned it on, wouldn’t expect any different from a gooner (I would absolutely do the same if the boot was on the other foot).

He is right on the Chelsea thing btw ;)

This whole saga brings up a massive issue...he will go at some point, like all managers do. It doesn’t matter where, but he will. The task of the club is to make sure all the systems and setup that he’s helped put in place stay and what he’s built continues without him with the next manager/coach.

I do hope we are succession planning in some way.

Levy is a successful business man, he'll have numerous contingencies, but stability and keeping Poch happy is his key focus. Hence doubling his salary.

I'd imagine Levy will be watching Silva's progress at Everton very closely.

Poch is bookies fav. I know football is a funny old game but has any manager ever signed for 2 teams in the same transfer window. Madness
Give me £10k and your name and I can make you favourite to become the next Real Madrid manager, unless you know the market size any fluctuations in bookies odds mean fuck all.

I mean, they mean fuck all anyway but next manager and player transfer odds are a glorified pump and dump, designed to separate stupid people from what little money they have

He has to be diplomatic and keep them sweet. We'd all love him to mug them off but it's never going to happen.

Fast forward to next summer, this window didn't go as well as planned, no trophies again, glass ceiling reached?

Meanwhile whoever has taken over at RM has been sacked for not winning the CL/La Liga double, and suddenly he's first choice again.

Plus having RM giving him the gooey eyes will always give him leverage over Levy.
Every time a manager gets sacked at Real Madrid we're going to go through this. Unfortunately the more successful he is with us the more he'll be chased by bigger clubs.

He’s still got to start being successful with us hasn’t he? We’re always told he’s accomplished nothing until he wins something.

Our manager being chased by Madrid means we are doing something right. Perversely it’s a good position to be in. In the next few years he may we’ll end up at Madrid...but he and Levy have pulled us up a few rungs on the ladder. It’s also a good reminder to Levy that we can’t rest on our laurels and need to keep progressing.

Personally think Levy agreed with Zidane to have him resign which would lead to media turning to Poch as the chosen one to take over. Creating interest and more exposure for his press conference on his book, more exposure to his book = more money, Poch then uses the extra money to buy Bale and Zidane returns to RM and Bale leaves, they can buy Neymar. Levy is a madman

I’ve just realised that if Madrid wanted to buy out Poch’s contract, it would only cost them about 12m more than what we paid for Sissoko :( football is nuts.

Plus his three mates , if Poch goes they all go , Levy would ask compensation for them as well.
