Me too. Apparently, he had already registered it as a domain name for some webcam business he's got going on, and was worried about potential brand dilution.

Still, Poch. What a guy. He even shares his sofa with a dog.
That's nothing I used to share my bed with my first wife.

“But always you feel responsible and the legacy for different people that can arrive and work on the projectect. That is our responsibility”

I think this is a very important quote. He’s basically saying that he feels responsible and understands that some of the people who have been a part of this project may or may not taste the glory once we finally stride over that final hurdle. Players like Eriksen and even Toby who have put in their years and commitment but who have always fallen short. Player careers are much shorter than managers. Poch understands this but ultimately it appears he is still steadfast in this journey even if we may have to go through a difiixuly transition period where some of the players who helped us get to the level we are now may move on to achieve tangible success.

I am an optimist but this does not sound like someone who is going anywhere. would be curious to get other's take on it.

Can you achieve what you want to here?
I think, like you all in our different businesses, always we want to improve, we want the best, to win, to achieve more money. I’m an honest person that loves to talk very honestly, and of course when you don’t win you’re so frustrated.
Our fans are so frustrated but you are the first that wants to win, the players, the staff, everyone. When you’re close, you need to try to translate that it’s all under control and try to create a good feeling, trying to help that hope that one day we can win. Of course sometimes the period that you spend, if you don’t achieve all that you want or expect, it’s true that it’s difficult to keep motivated with the right energy to in the end achieve all that you want.
I think the period today at the club, at Tottenham, is so exciting. Of course it looks when you look backwards I think it’s like one life, like we are at Tottenham for 20 or 30 years, because it was so tough, the moments, and so intensive, the moments we shared together. But I think we’re in the middle of the [journey] and I don’t believe that it’s the end of something.
That’s the difference when people talk for different clubs. When you talk about some clubs or others you need to see where they are, how they are, who they are. But when you assess Tottenham, they are in the middle of the journey, in the middle to arrive in the harbour. And you need time. And the time sometimes depends on the boat, or on many things - whether you can improve your boat during the journey. People can talk a lot and create a lot of history and theories about Tottenham but the most important is the reality.

The reality is we are very close to finishing the new stadium, we’re very close to creating, in facilities, one of the best clubs in the world. Of course all have different costs to pay, and sometimes to win titles today is difficult for different reasons that you and our fans knowe very well. But sometimes the patience is shorter, it’s not too big, and the frustration, like for us, when you don’t win… You’re so close but you don’t win. But for me it’s so exciting to be here at Tottenham, helping the club to achieve the last level.
I think we’re so close to getting the last level, but we need to have that patience that makes us stronger, because of course we’re finding different situations that you need to fix – a lot of difficult things that happen during the journey that you need to sort out. But I think we’re strong enough to sort out all the problems and arrive, and in the end to achieve what the club and fans deserve, and in the end all we want to achieve one day is to win trophies.
When I arrived at Tottenham, the first video I think Daniel or the people showed me was of Tottenham Hotspur, we are talking about the glory. Yes, I want to feel the glory with Tottenham. When I watch that video from 1960, I think always it’s a very emotional video but it will be fantastic to deliver for our fans and for all the people that moment again, to repeat it here with Tottenham. But first of all we need to finish the stadium, move there, finish the facilities here, be settled, make our stadium home again and work so hard to try to be competitive.”

Poch on Real - “It is like you are with your girlfriend or wife and you are holding hands, walking down Oxford Street,” he said. “But because you are so handsome, another woman is looking at you. But your wife is so proud and, rather than worrying, she is so happy to be with you and falls more in love with you.”

Truer words have never been spoken. I know damn well Real is a smoking hot prime Megan Fox, but you love me for me and that will never change.

This man. How can anyone not like him. Sheer eloquence on top of being honourable, honest and loyal.

Exciting stuff...its only three days until Poch says something non-commital, in broken English, with the wrong type of grin on his face.

And a week from now, he'll declare his love for the club again.

The cycle goes on.

I honestly don't wish to offend or upset anyone but the only people on here who will be looking like idiots will be anyone who, come the end of the season still thinks Poch will be here next season.

It's completely irrelevant what Poch says regarding his future at Spurs. Completely!

The reason is he has always said that he'd never leave a club by asking for a move, but would let the forces guide him and make the decisions.
If Real came to an agreement with Levy in the summer and pay vast amounts of money in compensation then that'll be the deciding factor. Between Levy and the other club. It's nothing to do with what Poch says or demands as long as Poch is okay with the poaching club.

And if he does leave (which I believe he absolutely will), then I wouldn't ever bad mouth him at all, since he wouldn't have broken any promises. He may say or feel he's in it for the long term but if Levy is okay with him leaving for good money then it's up to Levy, not Poch.

Another reason from a financial point of view when comparing Conte to Poch potentially joining Real : let's say Conte says he wants X players and they all cost a total of 250M.. But Poch says he's either fine with the current Real squad or only wants players totaling 100M, then why wouldn't Real pay the 40M+ Levy would ask to take Poch and bank the remaining 100M? It's a win - win situation for Real!!

It's so obvious that Poch is the perfect man for Real that is amusing that no one else can figure it out.

The compensation Levy would get for Pochettino would be minimal. Less than he'd get for one of our worst players. And you're suggesting Levy would actively push Poch out the door which isn't credible, given he only just committed to him the biggest managerial contract in the history of the club. And Poch has proved he can bring in champions league revenue on zero net spend, the ultimate golden goose for a chairman.

Poch may or may not be here next season but your reasoning doesn't seem to stack up in the slightest.

Agreed, the logic behind it is flakey at best.

Poch said this and Poch said that.

Yet when he says something positive, we cant believe anything he says?

It's sad how much certain you are about this scenario, you are literally making things up just to fit your narrative, it sounds to me like you're trying desperately to convince yourself.
