Pochettino will be allowed to communicate with his coaching staff via telephone or messenger and can deliver pre-match and half-time speeches in the dressing room.

Listened to Talksport this morning (yes, I know!) and Alan Brazil said he heard from the horses mouth that Dean said to Poch "that's your Premiership hopes down the drain." That's why Poch was so angry.

Brazil was adamant that he had heard this from the "horse's mouth."

If true, then I can totally understand why Poch was so angry because he knew it was a vital match and we'd lost.

Brazil also said that they are doing tests on the stadium today and if it goes well, we should have clearance for the stadium on Friday.

Horse’s mouth means he heard it from Poch or Dean themselves, and I’m sure both of them are likely to confide in a drunk with a radio show. What he means is he saw it on Twitter from someone who swears it’s from the horse’s mouth.

Don’t worry. spurs will name an interim manager by the name of Maurice Poucho
Have him dress up in a huge false mustache and a sombrero. He can pretend to be our so far unseen, Mexican interim coach, Poncho Tino.

Hopefully Poch comes out with what dean said at his press conference today. I bet he’s spitting feathers.

So what was AB’s take on it? Did he think Dean was out of order?

Brazil thought it was well out of order as did McCoist who was also in the studio. They cited what Klopp had done by celebrating on the pitch during a match plus making post match comments about the ref and getting a £53k fine only.

I know that Brazil does get a bit of stick and does like a drink, but I'm fairly sure he meets up regularly with a number of ex-Tottenham players. Ossie has been on the show quite a bit and they have been on golfing trips together. Brazil said a few times that this came from the "horse's mouth." Maybe it didn't and it came from Ossie who is close to Poch. There a lot of stories coming out in the press where "Spurs are unhappy with the ban" as revealed by sources close to the club. This could be part of that. Who knows?

He also said he had to be careful, almost as if he didn't want to say it and get someone into trouble. I do listen to Talksport often in the mornings as usually driving and Brazil can be a bit of a buffoon, however you can easily tell when he is joking, or being serious and it was definitely the latter.

I don't think this is some story he's taken from Twitter and re-hashed as his own. He also said the stuff about the stadium so clearly got some information from someone close.

I think we need to appeal it citing the refs comment (which we won’t make public if you play ball) and roll out a list of misdemeanours from other managers this season and their respective ‘punishment’.
Time to play hardball and show some teeth, what have we got to lose?

This is the thing. I can't see how a ref could say something like that and get away with it. Moreover, I can't see Poch apologising for reacting to it. If I was a football manager and my team were mocked in that fashion, I wouldn't be shouting in his face, I'd be trying to deck the ****. And fuck apologising for it afterwards!

It can't be that, surely.

EDIT: Something else occurs to me: the Burnley game was the 12:30 kick off. Neither Liverpool nor Man City had even played at that point. For all Dean knew, they could both have lost their games that weekend and the table wouldn't have been any different.

The more I think about it, the more unlikely I think it was a comment of that nature. I'm not denying that the pointless sack of shit did provoke Poch, but I don't think it was with anything like that.

It's just another setback we have to get over, added to all the other setbacks this season. :banghead:
