We shouldn't kid ourselves and pretend Poch is all about the project. He loves a project, but he isn't afraid to leave one. He's done it twice already, and Spurs > United represents a similar step up to Southampton > Spurs.
That bald bastard needs to firstly swallow his pride and take a financial hit to ship the dead wood out of the club in January, and secondly put his hands in his pockets and sign a couple of players the manager actually wants.
If he fails to publicly back his manager for the second window running, it should come as no surprise to anyone to see Pochettino at United or Real next summer.
Oh and the chairman backing the manager in the transfer market? You might want to ask Mourinho if he got what he wanted in the summer. Oh wait, no need to ask, he was already very public about it.
