We only had one way of playing? Poch has literally proven to be one of the most flexible managers in the world. He’s played 4-2-3-1 high press, he’s played 3/5 at the back, he’s played both 4 and 3/5 at the same games with Dier switching from DM to CB. We’be played 4-4-2 with two 6’s, we’ve played 4-1-4-1 and we’re now playing diamond. He’s literally adapted to the squad which he’s even trying to do know, he’s playing a diamond because he wants the midfield to get more protection because we don’t have a clear DM. He’s also made almost every player versatile. Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Son, Lucas, Mason etc became more versatile under Poch so he could play different ways. We’ve played high press, we’ve played counter attacking football, we’ve played possession based football, we’ve changed it to sent it long to Llorente. Poch has more than one way of playing and more than one plan. Get your facts right next time

As for transfers he deserves to get whoever he wants no matter the price. If we buy players that wasn’t in his list we would get a Nkoudou & Njie situation

And he’s been in a sticky position before. Remember his start? When players didn’t buy into his philosophy so we struggled at the start and Poch was almost at risk of losing his job.
Remember 16/17 season, the season everyone can agree was a brilliant one. We won 1 out of 10 games from 15 October to 3 December. We got knocked out of the Champions league in a “easy” group and later on knocked out in the Europa League

Things are shit right now and has been for months now unfortunately. But you must be deluded to think any other manager can come in and do a better job than Poch. Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and more players situation doesn’t suddenly change if Poch goes, in fact it would probably get worse

Let’s get through this shitty situation and in January splash the cash at a DM (Sangare) and a RB (Atal) no matter the price. The club really needs to back Poch now
What if Poch does not rate Atal and Sangare as he does not rate Tielemans?

He's 100 times the manager because you like him more then? Where are these hundred more trophies he's won?

Where at any point has anyone mentioned hundreds of trophies? I dont think theres a manager anywhere in the world who has won hundreds of trophies???
I dont particularly like Rodgers and he definitely wouldn't be my first choice to take over as manager.
I just have a habit of correcting people when they post stupid comments like Poch is 100% a better manager than Rodgers when there is no evidence whatsoever to support it???
Rodgers won multiple trophies with Celtic by the way, but I bet even you could win trophies being the Celtic manager ?

We’re apparently looking at Atal. And Sangare was just who I would like, but any good DM will do

And I don’t think don’t rate Tielemans it was just he didn’t want to loan him without an option to buy like Ceballos

This is very concerning. Especially as I try and work out who they might be apart from the obvious 3 or 4.
Same feelings when I read it, two that spring to mind are Moura and Dier (pure speculation as a poster and nothing more obviously)

Absolutely 100% they would. How can you say Poch is a better manager than Rodgers? Every team that Rodgers has been at has always played great attractive style of football and he has a history of winning things.
Players will always respect someone who knows what they're doing and Rodgers is a manager who knows how to coach. Poch is a motivator but is poor when it comes to the tactical side of things

Didn’t think Rodgers had won anything apart from Celtic, which doesn’t count in my book.

Real are top of their league (n)

Agreed, however their fans are turning on Zidane with the turgid football they are showing & a lot of them stating that they are only there due to the poor form of other teams. Sounds like us last year when we somehow finished 4th despite having relegation form!

Erm, I was also criticising the guy who said Poch was 100 times the manager Rodgers is...

Yeah I agree, but what’s confused me is Trix has said they are playing currently being played all the time. That ruled those 2 out ( although I could understand why they both wouldn’t be happy atm).

Ndombele is better than Tielemans which is why Poch turned him down IMO
I guess we could have got both. We only were told that Poch has got a short-list of desired players and that's it. He rates De Jong and De Ligt. Both did not want us. And so what? Life is over?

Ffs why are people so insistent of having a coach that won't be sacked 3-4 years down the line when that is the very real reality of modern football.

6 years of Poch has not been the norm. I'd also add that the situation we find ourselves in now is a very similar one to the one Mourinho has been in at the end of his tenure.

Anyone looking at a coach with the thought of long termism needs to accept that that probably means zero success.

Why? Because long term means Eddie Howe and theres absolutely less chance of success. Time to show some ambition.
Not the point I'm making both Rogers and Mourinho have demonstrated a tendency to lose dressing rooms and have stubborn personalities. Rogers has won naff all and Mourinho is about as toxic as a manager can get. Im not so keen on another young project manager rather one with a track record, experience, won things, at more than one club. I don't believe any manager will be the next Fergie, thats all nonsense, but I'm not in the sack him anyone will do camp that's not much ambition either Rogers certainly isn't much ambition, he literally did the same thing at pool as poch is doing now, everyone has a short memory.

I don't see Tielemans doing much in this team, not like we need him anyway when we signed Lo Celso as well.

I like Sangare really much. Looking did not mean that he wanted him last TW. We desperately needed CM in the winter's TW. And JJ was clear by mentioning that Poch did not rate him. It was not because there was only loan option. I still do not get why people make up these stories that Levy did not back Poch or Poch did it because...

The real question is... How does Poch turn it around if there's so many key players not on board with what he's doing?

Even if he dumps them, and we still struggle people will blame him for not starting them.

Could becoming untenable for him.

Hope not obviously.
