Absolute rubbish. I'm sorry, but that's the only way to put it. There's not a single person who doesn't have valid, rational reasons for believing as they do. The ones you accuse of having their 'head in the sand' believe that the best way forward is not to change, and there's nothing wrong with having that belief. That doesn't necessarily make them right, but it also doesn't make them wrong either. And it certainly doesn't make them blind.
There have been plenty who have accused those such as yourself that you're just knee-jerking and can't see the wood for the trees. I'm sure you'd disagree with that assessment. And why shouldn't you? It's just as invalid a presupposition as yours.
The most important thing is that we're not two camps - this isn't a fucking war. We're one camp of very concerned supporters who are watching their club go through a difficult period. In times like that, we should be more united, not less. Divisiveness just makes an already difficult situation toxic.
Yep, and I’m sure many people would change their mind if, say, we lost or won all of our next five games.
It’s not our decision anyway, so let’s just discuss the pros and cons of sticking or twisting.
