When anyone takes on a new job, he must deliver what his employers demand.
Poch , until this season, has delivered what his employers demanded and MORE.
It has been widely known that DL asked Poch to get us close to the top4 when we move into the new stadium.
Lets give Poch all the credit for not only delivering this, but way more, CL every season the last 4 and a final ofc.

For all the above achievements he imo deserves time to sort out this season's mess.
By time i mean give him january window , get him a few players he desperately needs, hopefully GLC,Sess and his potential new buys will start playing and we get back on track.

If however we carry on like we are now, and by the end of the season we are mid-table and playing like we are now, then i do think he will in trouble and DL will have a big decision to make despite their friendship.

I hope we all give him at least that.

You're talking like he wants to be given time to turn it around. I think he wants the sack.

Levy’s so intent on saving that 30m, he wont only be throwing away too 4, he’ll be throwing away staying up. Our form has been relegation form. Poch wont do what is required to turn it around. He’s proved that time and time again. He is absurdly negative to the point that is toxic. He has got to go. Yesterday was pure negligence. How the fuck he drops Ndombele, Davies and Jan for wantaways is inexcusable. But that’s not what gets me.

What gets me is how the fuck he starts Eriksen. It’s a slap in the face to not only the players, but the club and the supporters. Eriksen shouldnt be allowed near the first team squad let alone the XI. He doesnt shut the fuck up about wanting to leave even though no one wants him. He’s not even giving 50% out there. Fuck him. Why the hell continue to let that rot around the team? I wish we could just terminate whats left of his contract.

Whatever for? It's not like he's going to use them this season. Poch has a history integrating new additions to the team very slowly. There's nothing to suggest this would turn out any different.

I really don't think he does,

Someone earlier posted that he picks teams that are popular with the squad, trying to keep everyone happy, and i agree.

I also believe he is a top bloke who the players love to play for, but is average tactically, so when the players drop in form he is found wanting.

Look I'm all for giving the man time if he's making progress with the squad he isn't doing that. He is being stubborn, playing players that shouldn't be playing, dropping the ones that should, not making subs when he should, contradicting himself in the media...why does he deserve more time?

I agree with what your saying, but i answered why he should have more time .

Levy’s so intent on saving that 30m

He's no doubt still coming to terms with the fact that in the space of about 6 months he's gone from having an asset worth about £30m to having one potentially worth -£30m. Addding in a personal relationship and their history etc, it's not as easy to pull the trigger on this one than managers of the past.

Unfortunately all of us are frustrated, me included, however I honestly believe that Levy will give Poch time and the next two transfer windows to sort out the squad. I am now at the point where I am going to just suck it up and accept it. It has really bothered me over the last couple of months and have let it actually get me down following the game which is madness really! Im going to do my best and just try to get some enjoyment out of the games and I hope that we can turn this round.

Part of me thinks that Levy has seen what happens when he changes managers, and how hard it can be to get it right... beyond the huge fiscal outlay required to sack, hire, and fund a manager change.

But the other part recognises Levy's ever present ruthlessness, and if it doesn't change then he'll have to make the tough decision.

It’s all well and good saying the Levy will give Poch time to fix this but do you honestly think he’ll stay with that mindset when it’s Christmas and we are a point above relegation?

The problem with that as I see it is that "this season's mess" is largely of his own making, going all the way back to his comments in the run up to the CL final and then his talk of a complete overhaul that didn't need doing.

If the board are on the same page as him then we might as well sell Kane and Son next summer and go back to square one. The two c.£60m signings made to fix the only glaring weakness in the squad rather suggest that they were more interested in taking the next/final step this season though.

He's also got a history of getting us into the CL.

Which puts him level with Avram Grant and one below Roberto Di Matteo in terms of managerial achievement.

I'm being facetious, getting to the final was brilliant. But, a swallow does not make a summer. Results taken as whole, Poch was on upward trend with us until 2017 and he has been on a downward trend since. And that downward trend is now spiralling out of control.

I actually was taken aback by the backing he got on Tuesday night. Very surprised.

In general I think we are very impatient with Spurs in matches but are probably one of the most patient fan bases in the league with managers, even when things have been going Pete Tong for months (match going fans that is, not on social media or forums etc.).
