don't forget lads this was Dele a few months back, Neymar is just suffering from the fickleness of football. Find it rich that of all people, the Mexicans are poking fun at him, last I checked the Mexican league wasn't known for it's tough stay-on-their-feet football approach
Not really. Alli would go down under a little bit of contact, or dive, but he wouldn't roll continuously or make out that someone had broken his leg.
Neymar is a twat, end of story.
The exaggeration is what makes Neymar's actions so pitiful. Messi is fouled a comparable number of times in La Liga and I can't remember ever seeing him writhe in fake-agony only to get up thirty seconds later like nothing ever happened.point is he'd go down after contact, same as Neymar. You need to understand something, Neymar is one of the most heavily fouled footballers, it's going to appear more noticeable when it's happening more. I admit he sometimes plays it a little too much but the hate he gets is unreal when i guarantee every single person supports a footballer who does the same. What Miguel Layun did was disgusting, remember the foot that he stamped on was the same he had broken prior to the tournament, besides the stamp which is a straight red the act to re-injure was a low, low blow, but it was Neymar's 'rolling' that made the headlines. This is football, the sport we know and love, the sport we support and the players that, admittedly do the same. Can't accuse Dele of doing it but 'lesser'.

And even the writhing, yes lots and lots of players do it but literally nobody does it on the scale and so shamelessly as Neymar. He was down on the floor for 14 whole minutes during the group stage and when he hasn't been properly hurt on any of those occasions that's just crazy and wrong. He's a worse time-waster than Pulis' West Brom!
And if Neymar exaggerates so much because he's shit scared of getting injured again then he has a mental issue that really should prevent him from even playing football at all.
I've defended Neymar a lot in the past and it's important to understand why he writhes around, certainly since Zuniga crashed into his back and caused him serious injury. However, he is taking things too far now, I understand the need to highlight when he has been fouled but to roll and roll and roll every time is taking things too far.so out of the 14 minutes, how much of it was because he was being fouled, play acting etc. and what is the closest person in that department? Stats can look favourable how ever you decide to read them. Like I said, he does play act, no more than any other person IMO, if it's doing a roll or holding his ankle (many of your favourite players) it's all play acting.
He's a victim of the taste of the season, Dele had his turn, Ronaldo used to be known as the worst and that has all of a sudden dissapeared. Neymar did it a couple games in the WC and all of a sudden the abuse he gets is unreal.
All I ask is for consistency, if youre willing to slam Neymar as a human next time one of our own do it, go down injured only to be fine 1 minute later than you can't turn a blind eye.

Secondly his diving and nonsense hurt Brazil badly in this tournament. Rather than focus purely on getting into good situations he's already thinking about going down under minimal contact and trying to get players sent off. If he had have just focused on the best for his team instead of making everything about him then Brazil may actually have gone further. His quest to gain Ronaldo legendary status as opposed to let things come to him naturally by just playing has had a huge affect on his team. Since he moved to PSG last season he's taken his ego to a new level and rather than pander to it, someone needs to get it into his head that his career could pass and people's memory of him will be shrouded in humour and mockery.
Rumours that his ego is causing major issues between him and M'Bappe as well, which will almost certainly result in one of them leaving this summer.

And if he hadn't tried to con a penalty against Costa Rica from a position where it looked easier to get a shot off....appreciate the post, I will disagree with him being the problem for Brazil. We are talking about the 'kid' who at 26 has 95 goals/assists for his nature compared to the national treasure, greatest footballer of all time for brazil Ronaldo Lima 49 in total.
Neymar was born in a brazilian era where he has to do it all by himself, the hate for what he has done for his national is amazing. He is the reason they do as well as they have in recent years
. Neymar's supposed to be the natural heir to Messi and Ronaldo
His goalscoring record for his national team is superb and up until two years ago I was of the opinion that Neymar could lead his team to glory in this WC and he could be spoken about as one of the WC greats if so. But I started to have doubts with some aspects of his character. The PSG move, the Cavani penalty furore and some performances leading up to the tournament, add in the crying during press conferences and this is a player who is only thinking about seeing his name associated with the Balon D'Or. I'm sorry but Brazilian's have put too much faith in him and put him on this pedestal that he hasn't quite deserved just yet.appreciate the post, I will disagree with him being the problem for Brazil.
