one good thing about Chimbonda is heading ability - CFC may not play wingers so the LB may not need to do a conventional job there

but if Drogba Terry Anelka all play we're gonna have our work cut out defending set pieces - even with our new improved zonality

also if CFC pack the middle maybe O'Hara is best at LB as he can join in the mid battle

i know exactly what you mean and was considering that before, however i think it's too risky to play him there from the off.
for one, defending against cole, SWP, kalou etc. is not an easy task, and if he was at fault for a goal or something, it would be a big blow to the lad. i think a proven seasoned defender like LYP would be the better option, especially against chelsea's main threats.

secondly, i think he is a good second option or a way to change the game. if we try and keep a solid defence for the first 45-60 mins, maybe if we're trailing or drawing, then bringing on o'hara as an attacking fullback is not such a bad move
