I have to say I am am totally underwhelmed by the build up to the Olympics. In fact I can't think of any event that I'll tune in to watch. Am I alone in my indifference or do others share it?

I was all for going to Beijing this summer. I was there for 2 weeks last year and I got pretty excited about the whole thing. For some reason my interest has cooled somewhat. I will watch some on TV, but almost certainly wont bother going. I guess what will happen is that some Brit will do well in some event and everyone will end up watching.

I'll watch bits and pieces of the Olympics but I won't be totally attached to it like I was for the Olympics in Athens and Sydney. I don't know why but the Beijing Olympics just haven't got me hyped up. It might be because this is more of a political show piece than a sporting event.

It's a shame that so few people will watch the Olympics because GB are tipped to finish four in the medals table this year.

The Smog Olympics, i will watch them just to see how many drop dead from the pollution, and also to see how many Tibetan monks will set fire to themselves and run amongst the participants during the opening & closing ceremonies!

Why watch a competition of who has the best dealer, just don't see the appeal in it anymore.

Might watch some of the other sport like Judo if they show any of it.

I can't stand the Olympics. Even without the drugs it's nonsense. Just a bunch of blokes trying to find out who can run fastest? What are they, 6?

This Olympics also sets a dangerous precedent in that, due to the obscene control from the Chinese, the date has been set back to the auspicious number of 08.08.08.

Well, what's going to happen in 4 years when it's in London? 12th December is no time to be running around London in your shorts and vest.

That was an awesome Olympics.

Did any of you guys get to watch it?
Did you have you opinions changed?

I loved every minute of it, watching many different sports, hell I even got nervous over the Archery....

My 2 year old son lvoed it, he asked to be in the olympics the other day, he said he wants to bike race... very cute. (considering he cant even reach the peddles on his 3 wheeler!!).
