They are gonna have a mega strop on now for the rest of the games. Wonder what else we can do to wind them up?. Never mind half of them will defect anyway.

So Idowu still won't give his medical records to the BOA(or whatever they're called). On top of that he he hasn't competed in an event in a while. Call me cynical, but it sounds to me like he's trying to cover up something he shouldn't be doing/have taken.

I think this is just for seeding/ranking them for the start. There's a little bit in the Metro today about it.

I'm guessing you can follow it on the BBC somewhere.

Also mate, re your hour by hour scedule, this link from the BBC may help. Seems to have each day broken down for you.

I must say the BBC seem to be going all out for this. Just hope they pull it off!

Cheers, seems to be a few popping up today.

This time 4 years ago I'd just come round from a 5 hour operation on both knees. Perfectly arranged so i could just sit and watch almost every event going at the Beijing games knowing I would be house bound for months.

Now I have a job...and all the BBC streaming pages are blocked

South Korea have claimed the first two world records of London 2012 in the men's archery ranking round. Im Dong-hyun broke his own individual record for 72 arrows and joined Kim Bubmin and Oh Jin-hyek to set a new team mark for 216 arrows.

I'd have no problem with that - breaking the 4 minute mile barrier was no mean feat back then.

Who would you choose?

Well...it's mainly because I put a tenner on Redgrave

Certainly a mean feat from a great man but finishing 4th in one Olympic event doesn't really make him worth of such an Olympic honour.

The BBC Olympic Iphone app is also worth checking out. Alot of decent info on there to keep you up to date

The stadium is looking really good. Should be a good opening ceremony.

Well, it's an opening ceremony so pretty naff but they'd done agood job. No major cringes as of yet.

Think I've had enough of it now.
