City need about 3 wins out of their next 4 games. We just need to make sure we don't slip up. It's ours to lose.

Its all well and good for United fans saying we've done them a favour, but we'll be correcting the balance next week.

Mancini, the twat who is still wearing a scarf in this weather, promised 4th place in his post match interview. I remember a certain Spaniard promising something similar earlier in the season, really hope we make him eat those words.

Just thinking, there, Ledley will hopefully be available, Lil'Aaron may be back, Wilson will be...aside from right-back we will be nearly full-strength for the Mancs:beer:

It's the sort of comment that 'Arry would have been slated for saying, glad he has more sense

So now we have a headache. Monday, Liverpool are playing WHU. Ordinarily we'd want WHU to smash them and remove Liverpool from the race. However it could come down to the last day (unless we win every game from here on) and we could do with the spammers fighting for their lives. So what do people want from Monday's game? I think a draw might be best, or maybe a WHU win since Liverpool could close the gap next week and a defeat would give us an almost finish them off.

The other thing is Villa tomorrow. A defeat could finish them off too, which would be bad if they play City with no hope of 4th, so maybe a win there and then a loss on Wednesday against Hull to put more pressure on WHU

It's the sort of comment that 'Arry would have been slated for saying, glad he has more sense

Rightly so! If we finish 4th two people are going to look pretty stupid

Today has done nothing to change the fact that I believe, despite only winning 2-1 against some nothing club who we could have put seven past

I think we're all agreed we need 6 points against Bolton and Burnley, that's just imperative, then we have 4 toughies to negotiate.

Man Utd away is our bogey fixture, and as much as I like to think that it has to happen eventually by the law of averages, I've thought that the last 10 visits to OT! A point there is a real bonus, but I think we'll lose.

I have the ultimate confidence in beating Arsenal at home, on a wednesday night the Lane will be rocking, they have got bad injuries too and I reckon we'll blow them back to the stone age.

So the real biggies for me are the Chelsea home, and of course City away. Chelsea will be gunning for the title and as always will be fucking tough but I sense that we've really turned the corner with playing them since that great day in 2006 and we've put the spanner in their works in April the last 2 seasons so I reckon we can do it again, if only a point. The Man City game Is a must not lose game basically, and we have a stunning record up there. Tough game, and Man City have raised themselves for the tough games this season but I think we can sneak a draw.

I just really hope we don't raise ourselves for the games against the top teams and bugger it up against Bolton or Burnley.

So I reckon we'll win 3, draw 2 and lose 1 in our last 6 giving us 69 points, I hope that would be enough!

My lottery numbers for next week are...

1, 3, 7, 10, 14, 18, BB 20

draw at old trafford. win the other 2 and the city game is irrelevant. 71 points does it

City can get 74 points and more to the point we'd have to win at OT and against Bolton to be on 70 points before the City game. If city lose both theirs then we'd be 4th when we arrive at Eastlands.

What's funny is we're doing all this without Lennon, Palacios, woodgate, King, or Kranjcar.

Or Jenas.
