I want Villa to lose all their remaining games apart from the one vs Man City where a draw will suffice, Liverpool to lose all their games and city to lose the lot except for a draw against Villa.....we only need to beat or draw with City then to get 4th......easy!

I wouldn't take the Bolton and Burnley games as easy wins. Not by a long shot. I've learnt by now that you can never assume when it comes to Spurs.

Exactly. I hope Harry reminds them of this.

Lets see:

Us-------Bolton win-----------City lose----------------Burnley win
City-----Villa lose-------------Spurs win---------------West Ham win

Were there!!!! So villa-city the decider I think..

Even if Villa should win their remaining games. We have better GD!!

This.

7points (2 wins and a draw) is now required. I'm still undecided if I want Villa to win lose or draw 2moro

Dunno if I'll be able to watch the City game. I'm only 35 but I know what TCO means about his ticker not being able for it  The Arsenal and Chelsea games were bad enough!

9 months of effort likely comes down to this one game.

Villa are a real danger now. They are easily capable of getting a result at ManC and could pick up 6 in their other two.

Not sure if I'd like to go to City knowing that a draw is enough, honestly think we'd be better suited if we knew we had to win.

I'm just praying we turn up for this and City don't. But I've seen too many matches over my 49 years to have any real confidence in that. At home, yes, at their place, desperate to justify all the money they've already shelled out, I'm far from convince we will match City's hunger and desire.

Don't know what you mean about the Arsenal and Chelsea games though. I enjoyed them both hugely. At the final whistle.....

So surely we want Villa to beat Brum so they're really up against City. Then again, I don't recall a Martin O'Neill team that didn't fight all the way.

*except against Chelsea*

We are 11 better of than Villa.
exactly - plus we have a game in hand over villa after tomorrow AFAIK

let villa and city hurt each other - while we beat bolton

all along i've been worried about city geting an easy 3 points at west ham - still am - maybe some on here will catch up soon with that scenario

but if villa can damage city it stays in our hands with a bit of leeway hopefully

i'm now hoping pool draw at burnley to doom both of them

that's another thing some people haven't caught up with - other games are important
