Is this the race nobody wants to win?
West Ham 3-1 Liverpool
Leicester 5-3 Man Yoo
Tottenham 0-1 WBA
Even arsenal weren't great they scored with all their shots on target and Aston villa apparently had a very bad virus
We are involved imo just because everyone is playing so bad and have no balanceOf the three of us who lost against poor sides, ours was the worst result. We were at home for a start.
I don't think we will be involved in the race for a champions league place this season. I didnt expect us to be either given our investment in the side when compared to our rivals. Not just our rivals actually, when compared to everyone in the whole league our investment won't take us anywhere.
False hopeWhy do we have this thread, I don't think its success rate is very good.
People were talking about Champions league after the Everton game What about now?
No chance. United looking stronger. It would be irresponsible of fans to think for one minute that we are a club who could qualify for the Champions League this season.
The fact of the matter is we're deeply unwell. We have a squad that is bloated, rife with internal politics and player power, and who were all brought in by different managers and regimes.
What we all want to start doing, is writing this season off, and look forward to the work that Pochettino will implement over the coming years.
He's in it for the long term. He is working with a lot of bang average footballers who can't implement his ideas. Phase one is about getting rid of the deadwood. Phase two is about formulating a squad that can play his designated systems. Champions League is years away. Absolute years. But that doesn't bother me.

Spurs are currently only 5 points out of 3rd place, nothing has changed and they're still in the CL hunt for sure!!
Look carefully at our next five games, then say how many points you're certain we'll get from them.
