Ok, they may have missed out on a few not so serious "offenses", like Suarez' dive, but all in all it's best ref performances I seen in a long time involving Spurs!
Is shows to those on here - and there are a few on here - who think ref's impact on a game in rather minimal.
Today's ref team were excellent.
If this had been away to Manu with, say, Rennie as ref, none of the offenders would have been sent off. "Their" goal would have stood. Defoe's goal would have been disallowed for off-side, and most prob both of Ade's (none were off-side but they all were close). And Fergie would have been happy.
Well done ref/assistants!
