So are they going to build a new Love Lane estate?
That is part of the plan. Wishful thinking, though. Many developments in the area surround Tottenham and Edmonton; councils are desperate for cash. Enfield Council up the road is 1.2 billion in debt; I'm not sure what Haringey's figure is. I imagine councils will start getting more creative with their plans, as the big developers know they are desperate and don't have much leverage.

The current quality of new build houses/flats in the UK is dire. You'd probably be better off leaving the 1950s/60s tower blocks up, probably better quality than current newbuilds. :ROFLMAO:

I'm surprised we haven't been chewing Lammy's ear off especially given his lofty ambitions...

He’s been absolutely mute since spurs dug ground on the new stadium. Couldn’t shut the prick up before that. Since it’s been built absolutely missing
His local office is still doing good work, but he personally has bigger fish to fry these days with his position in the Shadow Cabinet. Tottenham will potentially get a SoS after the next GE assuming Labour win, and that alone will open some doors. :D

Public Enquiry Agenda
Do you know what the public enquiry is looking to achieve, from a THFC prospective?

ENIC/THFC will raise objections to the granting of a CPO as they have consistently challenged the Lendlease Proposals. There is a lot of time set aside in the agenda to deal with the objections. Previous challenges including a Judicial Review, have failed.

A much bigger fight would come should Haringey seek a CPO on later phases of the HRW scheme where ENIC have secured full planning permission for property they own.

Which were led to believe wouldnt be granted, as the consented schemes deliver exactly what the CPO would be offering. New housing, regen area and hopefully affordable housing, creating news buisnesses and jobs.

One of the reasons I miss David Matzdorf.. he's great at translating all this into words I can follow.

Agreed. He helped me out many times. Watching the Councilors at these meetings they have no clue either

The Hotel was Approved but the feed stops just as the Printworks Application was about to be voted on

The planning officer later confirmed to me that both Applications were Approved 👍

I did not know that Chick King has been issued a CPO, sad to see it go, but I have to admit, there is better value to be found.
