Well according to talkSPORT yesterday, their Spanish correspondent, the Scottish one, not Sid Lowe, said R told his brother to come over and talk to Ramos to ask if we really are interested after Ramos's comments about him........watch this space.

God damn it! A front 3 of Berbatov Keane and Ronaldinho would be immense. We would need a world class defensive midfielder alongside Jenas and Huddlestone and it could work

It's all quite embarrassing. Clubs like Man City, Newcastle and especially Spurs are always the first ones to be linked with an audacious move. Man Utd and Chelsea then just sit back and wait for things to get interesting, for all the legwork to be done. Then they're in like Flynn. We are nothing but a bargining tool to players like Ronaldinho and it sickens me. I'll be delighted to be proved wrong but it's highly unlikely. I feel sorry for those who are actually getting their hopes up.

 yes, I've heard that Ronny is dying to play in the UEFA Cup...I've also heard that Ronny regularly asks for pay cuts at Barca...and I've also heard that there is a race of mutants living in the sewers of London, arming themselves for an eminent final conflict with the normals on the surface...

Ronnie sucks. Sorry, but this isn't the blossoming talent of 5 years ago or the superstar of two years ago. This is a partying has-been that has been cast out of a Barca side that are floundering in a major way. He couldn't handle 1 day with Ramos, let alone 1 year. Needs to sober up and realize that soon Phil C will be doing his "I am going to buy Robert Earnshaw bit" with his name.

He's not wanted where he is, and he's looking to move. Why so sarky? The guy's sounding out a few places. It depends who wants him.

Yeah, it does happen. The blue scum gazumped Sven over Anelka at the last minute, meaning JD could go to Pompey cos Man Citeh had to find another striker.

But don't forget Berba told Fergie he would sign for us as he'd given his word after Fergie tried to tap him up before he left Leverkusen.

If you think I'm being sarcastic about the mutants, you have soooo much to learn...

As for Ronny, coming here is completely unbelievable. Bad weather, less pay, and though more fun to watch a less prestigious platform for his skills...hmmm...I just get a little annoyed with all these Spurs-are-going-to-tempt-Pele-out-of-retirement stories. We don't need expensive players, we need good players--good and expensive are not the same thing (though they can go together). Furthermore, players like Villa, Ronny, and however else the COYS boards are frothing about, generally don't move to sides that cant promise them CL football and the legitimate chance of trophies and medals every year. /rant

How do you think Becks ended up at LA Galaxy? He wasn't wanted by Real at the time, and thought his England career was over under McClaren, so went off to pastures new, and is probably regretting it.

When you come to the latter part of your career, everyone has baggage, and it doesn't matter where you've been or who you've played for, what matters is who will put a bid in for you as to where you'll end up.

What's wrong with a lighthearted thread about Ronnie? Makes a change from all the Berba is leaving threads, and people are expecting he will go abroad and not to another PL club with no evidence whatsoever. Has a foreign club actually put a bid in for Berbs or expressed an interest? No! But folk are still convinced he will go to Milan or Real.

The sewer rats story is true. Most of the rats were exterminated from Woolwich but a few escaped and settled at Highbury. They then emigrated a few hundred yards to an old rubbish dump where they now reside in an immigrants arena.

The Ronnie stuff is false mate - dont get suckered in.

Indeed, already done and dusted by all accounts in Italy

If it goes ahead, they're starting to rebuild nicely, an unreal attack of Ronaldinho, Kaka and that young kid Pato. It's Milan's defence thats the problem though, they need to strengthen there cause they got shown up badly by the goons.

If Man City are willing to throw enough money at him then it wouldn't surprise me entirely, as for us, not a hope.
