We don't need expensive players, we need good players--good and expensive are not the same thing (though they can go together). Furthermore, players like Villa, Ronny, and however else the COYS boards are frothing about, generally don't move to sides that cant promise them CL football and the legitimate chance of trophies and medals every year. /rant

How do you think Becks ended up at LA Galaxy? He wasn't wanted by Real at the time, and thought his England career was over under McClaren, so went off to pastures new, and is probably regretting it.

The sewer rats story is true. Most of the rats were exterminated from Woolwich but a few escaped and settled at Highbury. They then emigrated a few hundred yards to an old rubbish dump where they now reside in an immigrants arena.
