Is AVB''s little dig at the scum being on a downward spiral up there with the Rafa fact rant.

After we beat them AVB had his say from then they have been on a run all be it an fucking lucky one.

are you like me and when things are going well should you just keep your mouth shut, is this KARMA?

Don't care. If we has taken care of our own business it wouldn't matter what Arsenal had done. You have to earn a top 4 finish and at the moment we don't deserve to be there.

However if we go on a run ourself and beat city and Chelsea in the process then we will deserve it. Long way to go still.

lads its just been bugging me all weekend, Im a big believer in this sort of stuff, say nothing keep on going and when its over and you say all that you want

and the thing that's keeping me going also is the fact that Utd/RVP can win the league at that shithole

It's no where near Raffa's rant.He got out a piece of paper and then went on to lose the plot for half hour.

We were in a good position after beating the Goons, it's only natural he tried to put some pressure on. Let's be honest. We all know AFC like to turn it around at the end of the season, fair play to Wenger, he aint no mug. I don't think his comments served as any extra motivation or anything like that

There was always a danger of them putting a run together towards the end of the season, the remaining fixtures they had after coming to WHL were all winnable. I dont think anything AVB said would have influenced that...although i do agree with you about running your mouth before a big game, or the mind the gap stuff, the only purpose this serves is to make it more painful when the disappointing finale approaches.

I find it frustrating how lucky they seem to be, maybe it's because i notice it more with them than any other team but they have an unbelievable knack of pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. Fuckers. Just go down quietly, not even a whimper would be nice. Stop resisting the inveitable decline and get on with it already.

Arsenal's run in was always much much kinder than ours.

But losing at home to Fulham is the kinda thing you just can't allow when you're fighting tooth and nail for top 4 and couple with Arsenal's momentum just makes it look worse.

Still plenty to aim for, but if you ask me Arsenal look set for a top 4 finish. The question is regarding Chelsea... their run in is pretty harsh as well, but they do have the "comfort" of a home tie vs us and they will know that if it is still close by then that they can still hold the advantage.

We need something out of the City game though, that's for sure.

Nothing to do with karma. Arsenal had a nice run in and have a better team than people give them credit for.

They might have declined a bit but the gap was pretty big.

If we finish top four now it'll be ahead of Chelsea.

To be honest I would prefer that anyway, Chelsea as a footballing entity deserve nothing. At least Arsenal can claim dignity in their lofty position, achieved despite all their departures, etc...

AVB's comments were respectful to Arsenal. It makes a huge difference as it adds no fuel to the fire. Arsenal turned it around since they have nothing else to play for and luck has played its part. Our slump has been directly because of Europa involvement, of that I'm certain.

I don't think so. They've just had a piss easy run of fixtures. A bit like we did when we went 12 games unbeaten.

Home to Everton and away to Fulham are 2 tricky games for them. They may drop points giving us a chance to take advantage. Chelsea are also away at Fulham.

I would have fucking loved to just have one game where we get the rub of the green anywhere close to what they enjoyed against Norwich. Just one time. Just so I know what it feels like.
