We could quite possibly have The Chavs, the arse and Man City joining us (if we qualify)! What will their fans say about the Channel 5 cup then?

Let's not get too carried away... We should focus on us, I really give a toss about the English clubs in CL. In fact I love the Germans and Spaniards more...

Way to early to be suggesting anything like this.

We might not even qualify and cl groups are only half way through.

Yup, mind the gap and all that!

Too soon to say. City could actually be out altogether if they carry on in the same vein.
We need to beat Marribor twice to have any chance of getting out the group stage

Arse will qualify, only unless they beat Schalke away it'll be as runners up, so a nice trip to Barca or somewhere like Shakhtar for them. Given that they're our main rivals for fourth this season I'd rather they got through the group stage. They've got no chance of winning it anyway. Hopefully Juve can pull their finger out and demote the Chavs to the Europa League. I'd love to see them belting out their 'champions of Europe' crap against some minor team like Plzen or someone from Israel. If Ajax can get even a point at Shitty then Shitty won't even make the Europa, which would be hilarious. Another year of shit coefficient ratings leading to another year of being in Champions League Pot 3 leading to another tough group leading to another early elimination ad infinitum.

If Lazio and Panthainiakos draw today and we win, we're on top of the group. Not saying we shouldn't beat Maribor twice, but we can still get out of the group with a draw and a win.

They wont be joining us, if we don't pull our finger out. As we wont be getting out the group stages at this rate.

Shhhhh... :stop: Arsenal wouldn't be able to defend their way through two whole games plus extra time.

True enough :)

They wont be joining us, if we don't pull our finger out. As we wont be getting out the group stages at this rate.

Thanks to Panathanaikos we are still okay. Just so long as we beat them and Maribor at the Lane, we could be playing Lazio at their place for the top spot.

Arse will be fine. Outside of Schalke the teams in their group are too insipid to make life overly difficult for them.

Chelsea would have been in huge trouble had Juventus done the business yesterday but alas fate favours them as per usual. Can see Shaktar making it through now but we need Juve pull their fingers out. They need to beat Chelsea in the home leg.

Man City are gone. Just a matter of whether or not they can make third now. I reckon they won't.
