I'd just like to say that Greece are a bunch of amateurs and talentless pricks, it was like watching a Sunday morning pub team full of bad tempered frustrated hungover Wannabees.
That's all.
Either way it is a step in the right direction but I believe it is the latter. Personally I suspect most countries felt the same at the beginning that it was just friendlies with a bit more umph but I now suspect that those in the semi-finals are chuffed and those that failed to get there are a bit pissed off about it, not devastated no but I bet they'll take it serious next time.Sorry if this has been covered already, but what happens if we win the whole thing? Do you automatically get Euros qualification or something? Or is the sole reward the glory of winning such a prestigious and historic trophy?
Definitely this. You could see the change in attitude in for example Italy when they realised they could get relegated. Went from making 9 changes a game and not giving a toss to playing a great game against Poland to save their spot.Either way it is a step in the right direction but I believe it is the latter. Yes I believe so, the winners of all groups A to D qualify
A team that won the 2004 Euros ? How did their game get in such a meze ?
kev, i had £560 going on to them @ 1/3.
Will definitely become an established major tournament. In some ways it’s almost harder than getting to semi of WC. To win it we’d have to play x4 quality teams 2 of them twice. That’s tougher than winning a WC where you probably have x3 tough games at most.
Scots not only win but have the best record in League C, meaning they'll be guarenteed a home draw in the playoff semi-final if they don't qualify automatically.
Scotland get Finland and Norway host Serbia if none of these four sides qualify through the next group. Lucky Scotland.Scots not only win but have the best record in League C, meaning they'll be guarenteed a home draw in the playoff semi-final if they don't qualify automatically.
It'll depend on the draw but I think Serbia have a very good shot of qualifying outright, I really like them as a team at the moment. I'd probably put them just above 50% as long as they avoid the Germans.Scotland get Finland and Norway host Serbia if none of these four sides qualify through the next group. Lucky Scotland.
Serbia have to be strong favourites from those four but Norway are very strong at home.
Yeah I think Serbia have a great chance of going through the regular groups, and as an expat in Norway I hope they do.It'll depend on the draw but I think Serbia have a very good shot of qualifying outright, I really like them as a team at the moment.
