With all the rumours flying around regarding Ramos claiming if he cant get anyone in, players will stay...

Keane and Berbatov leading the attack on the opening day?

I cant even begin to imagine the mixed feelings from the fans if this happened.

It will be difficult for all concerned. Levy has come out and said that both Keane and Berbatov wish to leave for Utd and Liverpool. This desire will create the division between player and fans. However, if they are still here, they can always back track on desire to leave and commit themselves to THFC, especially Berba signing a new contract.

Realistically, I doubt whether Keane or Berba will be here come 31st August. I do worry, as Ramos seems to that it is becoming difficult to get adeqaute replacements.

Could be interesting on Monday when we play Norwich. Berbs and Keane will prob still be there, i wonder what sort of reception they'll get.

If they are still here on the 1st September, then they will have to be professional, suck it up and do what is ultimately, thier job. If I was fishing for a move to a different company, I'd still put in maximum effort at the job I was in until the day came for me to leave. Why should a footballer be any different? If I underperform at my job, I get reprimanded. If Berbatov and Keane can't be man enough to do the job that's in front of them, they should be punished.

berbatov wanted to go last season but still scored 23 and got 23 assists. I can handle another moody season from him no worries. :)

Keane will be in an out the team anyway because no matter what happens, who goes and stays nothing is going to prevent Bent getting more games than he did last year.

I'd prefer an attack of

Bentley Modric Dos Santos
Arshavin
Bent

+ good team morale

than

Lennon Modric Dos Santos

Berbatov Keane

+ bad team morale

If they are still here, with the additions we have made, a few wins and everyone will be working hard (or as hard as they did).

I'm just glad the club has the stance that we wont be caught out, we will either get the rpelacements in first or we wont sell.

The Roma game may well be the time we get to see Berba and Keano in Spurs shirts at the Lane. I would be very upset if the crowd booed them - fair enough when they're wearing the opposition's strip, but not ours. (I personally would never boo them anyway). This is going to be such a long month!

neither of the players have actually stated their intention to leave, if come start of the season they are lineing up for us 1.I will be very happy 2. I will cheer them both as much as before until they possibly leave and if they don't I will continue to cheer them!

Backheel from Berba round the last defender, Keano runs onto it and slots it past the keeper, Spurs 1-0 up on opening day and the crowd goes wild.

We're a fickle bunch, it won't take much to sway us back to our worshipping duties.

Though tbh, I can see Berba going and I'll accept that as long as Keane stays!

I know incredible isn''t it consdiering he was accused of not putting it in .

Rooney, Ronaldo and Berabtov each contributed a combined tally of 46 goals and asssits in all compettions. Rooney set up more than he scored, berbabtov did half and half and incredibly C.ronaldo only got 4 assits ontop of his 42 goals.

Also helps back up my opinion that infact Rooney not Ronaldo is UTD's most important player. Both he and Berbatov will score and set up lots of goal next season (if berb goes to them)

Please both of you just pledge your allegiance, get tatoo's of "never red" on your forheads. With the money from Sunderland etc... we have enough to get Bentley a DM and a cb. Then we can challenge the big boys.

I just can't see either being with us, and 2 new strikers with no prem experience, not happy.

I would like to think the fans show we want them to stay???

I don't want them there. I think they're an incredible partnership, but it'd be like your missus telling you she'd rather be shagging your best mate. It just can't be the same again.

Things is that we havent sold either yet so it would be diffucult to know which or if both need replacing, same trouble Villa are in with Barry.
