A pity the class was lacking when Jol got the old tin tack, everybody knew about his sacking except him, he had to find out from his nephew's text. Real classy.

It was bang out of order @Mullers but that was what 5-6 years ago. How about trying to leave the negativity out of your posts for once eh? You know, support the club you claim your a fan of instead of acting like Levy shoved a stick up your arse x

So what if it was 5 or 6 years ago? It was a classless act. Supporting the club doesn't mean people should turn a blind eye when they do something wrong and only say some propaganda message people want to hear.
It's a forum for different views, so I'm going to continue saying what I want to say.

Fucking hell!

Mullers could start an argument in an empty room and extinguish the eternal flame in one fell swoop!

If we ever win the league and someone - understandably excitedly - posts a thread with the title "Best league title win ever!!!", bank on Mullers to reply, "Yeah but Arsenal have won more titles and that's all that counts" or "Yeah but we had the worst relegation ever in 1977 and this doesn't make up for it" or "Yeah but some bad shit happened to our club some time in the past and you should all feel shit about it even now".

Cheer up, you miserable fucker.

;)

For some the glass is half full.

For others the glass is half empty.

Mullers dropped his and smashed it on the floor.

Not to change the topic here, but I'm pretty sure he knew before anyone, but was too stubborn to take note. After all, he'd miffed off most of the club's staff prior to the start of the season, before going on a run of 1 win in the first 10 PL games...

How do you know this? How did his nephew know before him?

In defence of the club .. my lifelong friend who died last summer was in terminal stages of cancer for about three years, he was losing the fight and came home to die.

THFC made a box available for him on a match day to enjoy a last visit to with his family and friends gathered around him
where he had spent six decades of supporting our club through thick and thin, home and away.

There is a soul there in the club. I won't hear any different.

Its stories like this that often go untold. How many of us have memories at the Lane with parents/family or friends that have passed. A special place the Lane. Very, very, special!

He may have known the writing was on the wall after Kemsley, Levy and the rest of the board tapped up Ramos, which was another classless act but I believe he did not know that he was getting sacked the day of the Getafe game.

I think we're very special in this regard; I actually don't think there are many clubs like us.

He should have known, he was doing an awful job all season. As I said, his own ignorance.

A number of versions of the Dutchman's departure have been reported and Jol said that he found out his fate when his nephew told him in the tunnel after the game.
I must say this bit made me chuckle.
Leeds chairman Ken Bates was also unhappy about the way Spurs have pursued his assistant manager Gus Poyet.

Bates says he first learned of the news from a report on television.

"I was watching the Uefa Cup ties on Thursday when Sky told me my assistant manager was off to Spurs. What's that all about?" he said.
