Thor at striker?

I was just thinking about this and why not try and play him as a lone striker. He has the workrate, the smarts, the skills and the finishing skills to do it. Ade is Ade. Defoe is hurt. Why not try Siggy at Striker?

Bale on the Left, Siggy at Striker, Lennon at RW. Then a central midfield of Holtby, Moussa and Carroll.

Don't think it would work personally. He'd have to spend most of the game with his back to the goal with reduced space. Thats not really his game. He looks best cutting inside and driving into space where he can slide someone in/have a shot.

I like all these hypothetical teams but we know AVB seems very rigid in his team selections.

I personally would prefer to see Bale up front than Gylfi
