I was going to say, winning the same percentage of tackles as Lennon would be a step in the right direction.

Zokora isn't the only one guilty of not winning balls in his favour. A lot of our players are guilty of it. In fact we lose out on a lot of 50/50 balls and the number of second balls that the opposition get is alarming.
A lot of the teams we have lost to this season have simply been better than us in this department. Even if we have a lot of possession it seems to be idle possession, then we will lose a 50/50 ball and concede a soft goal.

Huddlestones performance yesterday was imo simply being down to tiredness, with him having played a lot of games since Redknapp took over, something he's not used to. With Lennon being marked out of the game, we also displayed a real lack of movement for Hudd to deliver his normal range of passing.

No, he isn't, but for a DM to have put in as few tackles as he's done this season and win less than 60% of them is simply unacceptable.

Does anyone think that Hudd (especially) and Bentley are too slow for a top 5 Premiership side?
I'd like to think that pace wasn't everything, but you've got to admit that the top 4 don't really have any players (who I can think of, anyway
) in their midfield, who are slow.
Perhaps Hudd would have been a legend 15 years ago? The game is a lot more frantic now, however.
