Hi everyone,

Sorry to post this here, but just wondering if anyone can help or has any experience themselves with this at all. I've got 2 x tickets for the Newcastle game for me and a friend (both Hotspur+ members). With the fixture being moved to a Sunday and a few other difficulties my friend can no longer attend. I am keen to give this to another friend of mine who is a spurs member, but I understand that the Ticket Switch service is just for season ticket holders now - so online it is not giving us the chance to 'gift' the ticket.

I know normally you could just take a screenshot of the QR code on an iphone, but my friend is on android and it appears that the software blocks a screenshot.

Has anyone had this issue themselves and managed to get around it? I'm going to give the club a call tomorrow, but I have heard from others online that they haven't been the most helpful with this in the past.

Any suggestions on how to get around this would be much appreciated!

Yeah, I've got an Iphone, but unfortunately the original friend with the other ticket has a Google android phone. He can take a screenshot of the general ticket page (with the seat number, row etc on) - but when he flicks it over to the QR code and screenshots it the phone automatically blanks everything out (it's a black page with the his battery/reception in the corner).

You are spot on though - on my iphone I can press the three dots in the corner and take a photo. This makes it even more frustrating that we can't do the same from my mates.

So basically I have a situation where I have 1 x ticket on my phone (and I am still planning to go) - the original mate I bought a ticket for has it on his android phone (but can't come to the game anymore) and I want to get it to my other mate (who is a member with an iphone).

Really struggling to work out a solution - during COVID would have been an easy ticketshare situation.

thanks for your help everyone. Got this sorted in the end.

on android opened the ticket (not QR code). Press details, scroll down and turn off “hold near terminal to use” - then it’s possible to screenshot. Just in case anyone else has the same problem
