Man Utd have released their ticket details for the FA Cup semi. Their allocation is 33,411, so surely we should get that too?

Yes, we will, although I know for away games 13% of the allocation goes to corporates - if it's the same here that's about 29k for regular fans. Which would roughly translate to all season ticket holders from before this season, and new season ticket holders who've been to some number of domestic cup games this season.

I'd like to say Spurs are delaying the announcement because they're trying to sort something out regarding the ticket prices but I doubt it. They were still sorting Chelsea yesterday and haven't announced the Stoke details yet either.

Ok, so I assume the corporates are box holders and those in the restaurant areas, and they get offered tickets before anyone else? If that’s the case, and the tickets for sale on what only can be described as “tout” sites come from the corporates, I assume the club will be investigating and subsequently banning the offenders from having tickets in the future?

Wembley sells Club Wembley memberships, which are effectively season tickets, for about 2 grand each. For this you get tickets for all England games, FA cup semis and final, the charity shield and the Carabao cup final.

That will be the tickets you can already see listed so it’s got nothing to do with Spurs.

If the tickets are being listed at 2-300 each then that probably is about face value

The ticket office has been run badly for a few years now. They said at the start of the season they would speed things up so fans could book cheaper train tickets etc. About 3 weeks ago a return to Stoke was £32. Now it's £66. The loyalty points table was supposed to be updated on the 1st of each month. Earliest they've done it is about the 8th. Man Utd semi final applications have closed. We haven't even had details yet!!!

47 Loyalty points cut off

Allocation: 33,325 – Tottenham Hotspur supporters will be situated in the East end of Wembley Stadium.

Prices: £80 (£70 Concession), £65 (£55), £45 (£35) and £30 (£20). Concession tickets will be available in all areas of our allocation. Concessions for this match will be: Juniors under 18 and senior citizens 65 years and over. Click here for the Wembley seating and pricing plan.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE TICKET PROCESS

Following the increase to 40,000 season ticket holders from the start of this season, the process we have previously followed for FA Cup semi-finals has been adapted as we no longer have an allocation that can meet the demand from all of our season ticket holders. Therefore, in line with our Terms and Conditions and the usual practice for any away fixture where demand for tickets outweighs the availability, we will allocate tickets for this match in line with the Club’s Loyalty Points process.

Additionally, based on feedback received from previous sale processes for FA Cup semi-finals, we will be running a staggered sales process to ensure that the wait times and overall purchase experience is better than in previous seasons.

We are delighted to confirm that all current season ticket holders with a total of 47 Loyalty Points or more as of 12noon on Wednesday 21 March, 2018, will be eligible to purchase a ticket for this FA Cup semi-final. There will be four separate sales windows for supporters to purchase their ticket in and anyone wishing to sit with friends and family in a different window are able to do so by waiting for the later sales window to open.

Like I said, ticket office is a joke. 3 hours to buy a semi final ticket. Maybe they think everyone has a personal secretary

Looking at the loyalty points I reckon I'd be guaranteed a Final ticket too should we get there. I'd imagine it would be around 55 LP with the slightly reduced availability.

Need to get there first...

I was thinking the exact same thing!

By the time we get to a final, I may be able to get a senior persons' ticket.

I realise that's only funny if you know I am in my 30s, and not really that funny anyway.

If anyone is unsure as to how come the cut off is at 47 points, it’s because I have 46. ****s.

I thought they were going to base this on pre season membership points?

For this purpose (1 off game) it’s better than a free for all where surely?
It's a marginally less painful phasing this time (for our group) as I think everyone is either in phase 1 or 2, unlike the season ticket phasing.

I'm unsure that there is a "right" way to do this. Certainly when I've been the one buying the tickets for our group I didn't like the free for all, very happy to admit that.

No, that would screw over people who’ve been dedicated all season long.

So this way you could of had a season ticket for just this season and got a ticket, yet someone who's been going for years as a member but this year hasn't got to as many games, misses out?

That’s the thing, the free for all screws over groups and also means that the most loyal aren’t given any benefit over the least.

Agreed that there’s no ‘right’ way, but many wrong ways.
