Better is an oversimplified term, he (Zaha) brings something completely different to what we have in the side. Works his socks off too.

If he ends up at Dortmund, just you watch how good he is at a better club.

Zaha is great when he has space to attack, and really don't think playing against teams that sit deep would enhance his game. he would get moody when rotated because there would be games he wouldn't play. to be honest his accuracy and scoring rate isn't too good either. he is stronger on the left, and so is Son. I know they can float, but would mean Son floating more for someone that doesn't score enough goals, and it's not going to help if he isn't scoring or accurate enough to assist. with his reputation for diving he will also hinder us getting penalties

‘He would get moody’ Please explain how exactly the fuck you know Zaha will get moody. Absolutely ridiculous

he wants to play every game just like every player. he wasn't happy at United playing occasionally. as mentioned by someone else he likes being a big fish in a small pond. he might be faster than Son, he might have quicker feet than Son, but Son knows how to score even when teams park the bus

In fairness to Zaha, his move to United was 6 years ago when he was about 20, and he signed for Ferguson but ended up playing for Moyes. That would be enough to make anyone a bit moody.

What’s all the Zaha talk about then? We ain’t signing him, no links etc. Also why is this thread so active apart from chumps posting about Zaha? Because we’re not signing Werner either. Wakey Wakey.

My issue with Zaha over Werner is purely age - Zaha is an excellent, who I'd guess we'd get 3 great years out of minimum. But what would his sell on value be at that time? We HAVE to think differently to other clubs because we're financed differently.

Werner might be less developed, but he would improve, and we would either have longer service out of him, or greater sell on value. We might not like it, but we do need to consider these things
This is the mentality that means we win nothing. Not every player we sign needs to have a sell on. We need a mix of assets and players signed that improve the team.

30 pages of people hoping that we will sign him but writing "noo we won't sign him no chance, although he would be perfect" so they won't be disappointed at the end of the window.

Personally, I think he would be perfect for us but no chance we will sign him.

It’s only a risk spending £60m if you don’t scout properly.

Maybe we should get the guy who just left arsenal as a head of recruitment.
