It's no secret that the foreign imports this summer may not have all been to AVB's taste, but with Tim Sherwood seemingly having the ear of Levy and a hand in our recruitment process, perhaps this will better serve him to get more of our new singings?

I've read that there will be a bias towards players from England, but perhaps the likes of Lamela, Eriksen and Soldado will thrive under his command?

Do you think Tim will be able to get more out of the new signings than Villas Boas did, as he was apparently more influential in the signing of them? Or is it too early for him to be given a job on the front line that requires the moulding of 7 new players from 6 different leagues?

I really doubt Tim'nice but, held much sway with any of these new players coming in. This was a, Levy $, Franco Mr fix'it and AVB "no I said I wanted all my old players from Porto" three-way discussion.

Why are some people acting as if Sherwood has been appointed as the new manager?

Take a closer look at the club announcement: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new...od-assumes-first-team-coaching-duties-161213/

If he does well and gets made permanent manager (still a massive long shot imo) then I agree with the OP in that the only positive I can see is he is firmly Levy's man and therefore may be able to persuade him to butt out when it comes to football matters.

Mind you, once your arse is on the line to get results, all that harmony may fly out the window.
