I've had my eye out for a stat for a while now and it got to the point where I thought 'sod it, i'll do the ground work myself'.

We've been there or thereabouts for a few years while never really being taken seriously for more than a few games. Probably because we've only actually been top for a few hours. Some have peaked and fallen again, we've been leapfrogged a few times. But always consistent. How many years did I dream of just being that? It may or may not come as a surprise that once again, we don't even top this table.

Premier League points since the start of the 'Leicester Season', aka: When Spurs caught up in this title race stuff.

1. Man City 303pts
2. Spurs 290pts
3. Liverpool 273pts
4. Man United 264pts
5. Chelsea 263pts
6. Arsenal 256pts

For now we continue to build. But for a team who recently dreamed of 4th, we are more than living the dream.

Excuse the very Irish Republican end to this thread, but 'Tiocfaidh ár lá'. Our day will come.

When can we claim our three-season second place trophy to go alongside our 2016 calendar year first place trophy? :)

And this is the reason we haven’t been able to enjoy our improvement. Listening to other people put the boot in with random sentences containing the words ‘legends’, ‘trophies’, ‘pressure’ and ‘DVD’. All designed to keep us in our place. But although we haven’t reached our destination, we’ve left that place. I’m not in this game to please opposition fans, or even our own. My love is Spurs.

How is that pronounced? I've always been curious about Gaelic.

I've enjoyed our improvement over the last few years, how could you not? Maybe you have to be a touch less sensitive Dougs.

Anyone who default response is as the above is playing into the hands of those who put us down. Free your minds of other people’s clutter my friends. Rejoice. Spurs have arrived at the top table. We just haven’t been served the mains yet.

I’ll celebrate when the new stadium is open. Until then, for some reason, it doesn’t feel like we’re complete as a club to me. Don’t know how West Ham fans can feel fine with renting from the council or whatever their arrangement is. Feel like an unwanted guest at Wembley

Maybe it’s you that’s sensitive? I’m giving my own thoughts. You’re sharing those of our detractors. It wasn’t a dig at you or your post. I expect it. I’m just disappointed by it.

Interestingly it remains possible for us to match the record for most wins in a Premier League season...

And still not win the league.

I can't decide if a West Ham fan claiming to like their stadium is trying to fool themselves or everyone else.

EDIT: Sorry, went totally off-topic there.
