Tottenham are not ruling out a move for Blackpool's Tom Ince next month.

The England U21 international will not sign a new contract with the Championship side so is free to talk to foreign clubs and has had interest from Ajax and Inter Milan.

Swansea have already expressed a desire to sign him and a sale to a UK club in January would certainly suit Blackpool. They want a fee of around £5million and would press for a similar figure at any summer tribunal if he allows his contract to run down.

Due to his age, and despite the fact he joined from Liverpool, Blackpool are due a training-on fee. However, should he move abroad, Blackpool will pick up little more than £155,000.

Tottenham see potential in Ince, as do Newcastle, they flirted with the idea of a bid in August but held off. They will check on a price for January but may take another chance and wait till summer for optimum value.

I understand Standard Liege are an excellent club, although I'm concerned that Tom might feel homesick after a few months and have to come back to a club in England...

i just don't see any point in getting him what so ever. We are already overloaded with wide players and should only think about adding one if they are exceptionally talented... Ince is not such a player.

Always difficult to assess how a championship player will do in the PL, could well be a step up on Sigurdsson, he would certainly get involved in build up play a lot more. Heard him state before that he won't move unless he get's game time, also a Gooner.

I think in Townsend and Lamela we have enough young attacking mids on the potential brink of making it big. Unless the youngster is special I don't see a need for one of that position.

From the little I've read and heard about Tom Ince he isn't special.

His next move should be to a team that will give him regular game time.

Not good enough, we should be aiming much higher for that position (Draxler/Griezmann level).

We are crying out for width in most games and Ince is an excellent player, he'll be in the England setup soon, he is a better player than a few already like Zaha and Sterling

Yes another wide forward/right winger....when Spurs' already got Chadli, Lennon, Lamela, Siggi, Townsend. And why would he come when his chances of playing are so slim.

Profit potential for Mr levy!

Nail on head. Levy always looks to sign these players, kranjcar, pienaar, Holtby, chadli are all examples of this, levy can't resist regardless of the teams needs

Didn't ince score 20 league goals last season too? That's a bloody good return (just saying, I've never seen him)

I wonder if we're looking at the 17 year old attacking mid at Dundee Utd (Ryan Gauld) that everyone North of the border are raving about, and/or Burnley striker Ings.

I'd love to see him go to Ajax. Too few British players go abroad and try to make a career of it.

He scored 18 last season and has 6 in 13 this season.

If he joins a top 6 Prem club he'll become a squad player. If he goes to Ajax he could play a part in a title winning club and get CL experience.
