RIP Tommy Burns. Even a rangers man like myself can appreciate how much a great guy you were. One of the few great men left in scottish football.

An absolute gentleman, a credit not only to Celtic Football Club but Scottish football as a whole.

I've never heard a bad word said against Tommy Burns. Everyone liked and respected him, he's one of those rare figures that unites Old Firm fans. What a huge loss to our game. You can't replace guys like him, he was a unique individual.

And as a football man, he lit up the Scottish game by bringing in some exciting players and getting his team to play attractive, attacking football. I've always said that, for me, Tommy laid the foundations for our 9 in a row charge being halted. He turned Celtic into genuine challengers and got them playing some great football. And his role within the coaching staff at both international level with Scotland and club level with Celtic can't be underestimated. He's been part of huge success with both camps in recent times.

Thoughts go out to his immediate family first and foremost, but also to the 'Celtic family'.......fans, players, etc. To lose a legend is always so hard to accept, and Tommy Burns was a genuine legend within the game.

R.I.P Tommy
