198cm is just under 6'6, as 2M is 6'6. that sound about right steve, or was simyid incorrect in his height in the first place?

6'3" or 6'4", I think is the optimum height for a goalie. Taller than that, there may be some difficulty with ground shots.

I would agree traditionally, but nowadays with more athletic keepers, I think some shorter keepers with great agility are good in the air as well. Height is less of an issue now.

Peter Crouch is taller than him, so, erm, guys, I think we've found ourselves a new goalkeeping target!

He is so so so bad, no way

I don't claim to be any judge of keepers, but I have never seen him do much wrong.

My understanding is that he is player whom it is felt has made much better progress than expected. At any rate with Robbo injured, we have not bothered recalling Alnwick or the highly rated Button, so the club must have some confidence him.

A trampoline might help.

Wouldn't the opposition just be able to shoot under the trampoline in that case? With Robbo bouncing around on top he'd have no chance. Terrible idea. You're fired.

why not just send Robbo to get some work experience as a bricky, he could not only build a wall in the goals, but also then be able to set up the wall better at free kicks
