Good news! Just to let you know Tom has said on Twitter that his roboboot is now off and 'Been out 6long weeks, and expecting another 6 so mid to end feb I'm hoping for but can't be specific. Will know in a week or 2'.

We've done incredibly well without him but I can't wait for him to be available again as he brings another option to the midfield. It must be sickening for him missing out on the action as we rise up the table. Hopefully this news means he might be available for AC Milan.

When he is match fit and in form again he will be CM with Modric. No chance he wont play.

I think the thing that sets him apart from our other centre mids [except Luka], is that with him in the team we reatin the ball a lot better. He is cool under pressure sees a pass quicker and can distribute with either foot, long or short.

We have been missing an out ball when under pressure, aprt from Luka, Tom is the only one who can take the ball under pressure and turn and move it on cleanly.

I just wish he would use his shooting boots more because there arent many players in the prem that can stike a ball as hard or cleanly.

We're doing great wothout him, but our form with Modric and Huddlestone in centre midfield is also very good. I cant wait to see him back. Palacios, for all his hard work, gives the ball away too cheaply. Which means he has to work even harder just to win it back again.

Thanks for doing that for me - have only just got back.

It must have been so frustrating for Tom seeing everyone moving on without him - and the big fear for any player at a club like ours (eg Charlie) is you get injured and someone else comes in and shines - and you can't get a look in when you're fit again.

This is all good for us of course and is why we are becoming recognised as having the best squad in the premiership. Happy times!

We really haven't missed him have we ? Not to say that we won't but what I love with this squad, over the last two seasons, is that whoever comes in for an injured or suspended player has stepped up to the plate and done an excellent job........except in the forward department, where it's the midfielders that have stepped up.

I am certain when he returns Harry will bring him back in alongside Luka.

I hope not. We've had our best run for ages and he should be made to wait like the others had to.

Okay then! Hud should work at getting his place back but as I see it, we have not lost alot since Jenas and Palacious has stepped yup to the plate, so why fix it?

We only have 4 shoe in starters at the mo I think.

Mod
VDV
Bale
Gomes

Maybe BAE too cos of lack of competition at LB. The rest I think it's too close to call...or put another way I'm pretty content whoever plays...
