A thread to celebrate Robbie Keane scoring his 100th Premier League goal today, 75 of which have been in our colours. He's moving up the list of Premier League all-time scorers as well:

1. Alan Shearer 261,
2. Andrew Cole 187,
3. Thierry Henry 174,
4. Robbie Fowler 161,
5. Les Ferdinand 150,
6. Teddy Sheringham 147,
7. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink 128,
8. Michael Owen 127,
9. Dwight Yorke 123,
10. Ian Wright 113,
11. Dion Dublin 111,
12. Matt Le Tissier 100,
13. ROBBIE KEANE 100,
14. Emile Heskey 96,
15. Ryan Giggs 95,
16. Paul Scholes 95.

Here's to him overtaking Gooner Wright before the end of the season!

I think he could get up to JFH, but probably no further.

Nice one, Keano.

Nice one, Keano.

You mean you think he could score another 28 goals in the remaining 19 games?

Yeah, I could live with that.

Ha! No, unforunately I meant in the rest of his PL career. Liking the optimism though.

Yep congrats Robbie - great player for us

how old is he? I thought he's only 27?

If so he can deffo catch Sir Les & Sir Ted

Keano doesn't rely on blinding pace - he's tough as old boots - why wouldn't he have another 5 years and 50 goals in him?

Keane has 50 more goals in him. Barring injury. He's not a pacey player. He's an intelligent footballer. He'll be around finding the back of the net.

What a positively odd statement.

He averages 13 a season for us, and he's on 8 at the moment.

If carries on this form, I reckon he could hit 20 this season.

He's here to stay, hughy, he's found his home.

That might be his average, but he got 18 or 19 last season, and looks well set to get around that mark again this season... Looks like he could be one that improves with age, so to speak...

I'm not saying he hasn't. But I am saying it's inevitable that his current scoring record will come to an end before his career is over. I personally can't see him getting more than 47 PL goals added to his total.

I'm not, by any means, saying he'll only get 28 more goals.

I wish he would actually play like he's on form, rather than just score goals, but at least he's doing that much I guess.

That is seriously impressive, almost man u horseface-esque! It is so strange that Robbie's overall play has had a dip but his scoring has gone through the roof:shrug:

Surely that has got to be the best of any prem player in 2007?
