Not just winning it at theirs, but taking their title too. Soooo sweet. Good things like that don't happen to Spurs fans though, do they?

How about sending them down in the process? Winning goal coming from Kane smashing the ball in off Terry's gormless mug.

We are 16 points up on Champions Chelsea. I must be in some parallel universe in which unexplainable events occur. If someone said that before the season began, I'd have thought mental.

So Rooney and as a result United are putting a few results together and 5 points is not a massive gap, so I am not ruling out finishing behind them.
However I'm hoping if that happens, that Leicester will actually take points off of City and Arsenal, but then struggle against the teams that are battling at the bottom. And I think those are going to be the test for them. They are at their most dangerous on the counter. But not sure how well they will be able to break down teams that put 11 men behind the ball.
Also I'm mindful of Liverpool and United winning the EL or even Chelsea winning the CL. However unlikely, it's a possibility.

This Spurs team remind me a little of Atletico Madrid in the 2013/14 season.

They were third after 24 games (albeit on GD) but went on to win the league.

We got this.

Edit: Oh, and they both had a Toby Alderweireld in the squad.

City were hanging on against Sunderland.

I really am not dreading going away to them like I would in previous seasons. Don't get me wrong they're capable of ripping any side apart when they're in the mood but that fragile defense makes them vulnerable and its affecting their confidence as a side, no doubt about it.

I think we've a real chance heading up there.

our last league away defeat was in Salford, so glad we are playing in Manchester for hopefully our 13th undefeated away match.

this is a game I feel to finish higher than 4th we can't afford to lose, it's a 6 pointer

Leicester have a great chance to win the league. Hope City knock them off the top on Saturday.

Good to be 3rd, even if its only GD. Hope we keep this up and head into the int'l break still in the top 4 and with a shot at the title. That is best case scenario for us as from the CIty game to the international break, we potentially have 11 games in those 4.5 weeks.

hadn't noticed the International break at the end of March, really wished them games weren't happening Kane, Dier, Alli, & Walker

are France, Denmark & Belgium playing that week?

Titles are won one game at a time. Of course it’s fine for us fans to dream and guess at what might happen over the coming weeks. But the reality is we really could win the title. Or we could equally slide to 5th or even 6th. A bit of luck here, an injury there, a bad result, or the ‘distraction’ of EL or FA Cup success. What’s more, the same applies to our opponents. Kompany coming back into City’s side, an injury to Aguero or Mahrez, Arsenal knocking out Barcelona, etc. But we are in the mix alongside the top clubs and I’m damned sure every Spurs fan would have taken the current situation at the start of this Season.

The mentality I want from our players is what I’m feeling at the moment. From Poch down, it’s look forward, but only one game at a time. It’s Watford at home. Nothing else matters. Don’t worry about Arsenal or United below us, let alone what Liverpool or Chelsea might do. Our target is above us - a ‘little club’ in Leicestershire - and all credit to them. I, for one, truly hope they last the pace and come second to us. I want a 3rd or 4th place for us to feel like a disappointment if that’s how things turn out.

This thread “Top Four Finish?” began in September last year when that was our dream. But that has now become my nightmare. The dream is the title. It is time to revive what this Club actually still stands for despite the PL years: “It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low.” What will be will be. There are too many variables to predict anything with confidence. But for the next three months, let’s support our club, our team, and above all every single individual player, as they set their sights very high, so high in fact that even 'failure' this season would have in it an echo of the glory that is Tottenham Hotspur FC.

No we're winning the league the week before at the bridge, oh how sweet that would be

my biggest worry would be us needing them to take something off of Leicester on the final day to decide our fate this season. their club hate us from top to bottom, and that includes their owner

I thought we were talking about City and Aguero, but I wouldn't worry about Chelsea they'll be duly motivated since they are in a relegation battle, lol

when I quoted your City and Aguero 1 I was a couple of pages back lol

I bloody hope Chelsea do need 3pts to stay up on the final day (but can't see it).

I kinda need Aguero to stay fit in terms of a couple of fantasy football teams I have on the go, but hope more he just draws a blank against us, and only does enough to win me some £££'s and not cost us (sorry can't say it, to bloody nervous)

I like this 10x but we got to focus on winning until end March. Poch will decide where to pile the resources by then.
