Yeah Bournemouth missed loads, they even missed turning up for the match.....considering Utd were playing Newcastle and not Bournemouth ;)

At considerable danger of stating the blindingly obvious.....

Key words 'were' for the game I saw (first half anyway) Newcastle-ManUre and 'apparently' for the game I didn't Bournemouth-Spam

I reckon we'll know a lot more after tonight.

United dropped more points.
We're playing a current top four rival.
Liverpool play Arsenal and United this week.

Huge opportunity and one where we'd traditionally cock it up and drop points. If we're serious of top four or beyond, then tonight will be a big indicator of it. Win tonight and we take a big step forward IMHO.

Liverpool v Arsenal........what is your preferred result out of interest. I suppose a draw would tick most of the boxes.

Villa winning last night was handy as well. Not only did they take points off Palace but they've Leicester at home next - with an extra day recovery - and now will have some belief and confidence. Yes Leicester are a much better side but I think Villa will now give them a game and work their socks off. Certainly don't see it as a gimme for Leicester after last night.

We do our job tonight and at home to Sunderland on Saturday and the League table could be very pleasant viewing.

Tonight's game has a massive feel about it, it really does - especially when you consider Arsenals's upcoming fixtures as well.

definitely a draw, unless by some miracle they can both lose.

plus several sendings off
plus numerous hamstring snaps
plus ineligible players and points deductions
plus a meteorite strike or sinkhole (y)

Depends on what our legitimate aims are.

If we are genuinely looking at the title, then a Liverpool win would be good and would mean, whisper it very quietly, that we could be top of the league by the end of our game on Saturday.

But lowering the expectations slightly, a draw would be a good result for us.

Dare to dream ....... :D

Tottenham have lost just two of their 20 Premier League matches this season. It is only the fourth time in their history that Spurs have lost as few matches by this stage - on the previous three occasions they went on to win the league title (Division Two in 1920 and 1950, Division One in 1961).

Indeed, next 2 games are absolutely huuuuge. Would be the norm for us to falter in these but if we pick us 2 wins (which we are probably expected to) then we've turned a corner I believe, very exciting times at the minute.

I'm not making any predictions but I hope we get 3rd or 4th. I hope we win too but my brain just lols at my heart when it suggests that.
