Team must love all our "supporters". What sort of attitude is this to take.
Supporter....... look it up in the dictionary some time.

I'm real, I don't live in lala land where everything is amazing. We have issues we have played these lot three times and can't beat them yet knowing how they will play. Lets be honest here we are nowhere near top 4 quality and wont get it.

If we're nowhere near top 4 quality, how on earth are we, umm, 4th?

Also, how, after just 3 losses, are we going to slip into apparent oblivion, and a Man Utd team that's been pretty abysmal all season are slowly gonna claw their way back & overtake us?

I'm pretty sure "these lot" as you call Leicester, have beaten much bigger teams/clubs, with genuine world class players throughout their teams, and they also knew how Leicester would play.

Are those teams also going to slip into virtual oblivion, and are nowhere near top 4 quality, so won't get into the top 4?

Still pretty deflated after last night. Need the team to respond like we did after the Newcastle defeat. We still have a great chance of doing it. Make no mistake we have to beat Sunderland on Saturday. COYS.

I'm real too, live in England (which could be described as la-la sometimes) certainly not amazing either.
Just out of interest how did we do against "this lot" last season as well?
We are no where near the finished article but I think they are amazing. A bunch of kids doing really well, exceeding my expectations for this season so far.
If you want to believe all the hype you read in the media so you can retort it that's up to you. You'll easily be brought back down to earth because they are young and learning.
I'm happy with the way things are going.
Would love a couple of additions to our first team squad to push on but if not It's not a big problem to me.
As I posted earlier I'm looking forward to next season when they gel together more and learn more of what Poch wants them to. And essentially have more experience.

Interesting thing is, top 4 wouldn't be an overwhelming achievement this season. Getting back into CL would naturally be outstanding of course. But apart from that fact, as an isolated result, finishing 4th in a league with 3 really big clubs failing in the same season, that's just where we should be, I suppose.

Grow up FFS. So just because we didn't beat Leicester we're not top four quality? So last years champions lost to Leicester so they must not be top 4 quality either? Or Man City?

What twisted logic.

Saturdays game v Sunderland is an absolute must win game

It's the biggest game of our season since the last game which was the biggest game of our season and the game before that which was the biggest game of our season

Every game seems so big and important, it's brilliant

The last round of games has moved me from 'quietly confident' to 'more in hope than expectation'
I was banking on Leicester to continue their mini slide-they ended up joint top,
I had dismissed West Ham-Payet has come back and now they are a point behind us.
Our next fixture is against Sunderland-Defoe has scored 5 goals in his last 2 games.
Rooney has also woken up.
I'm more than a little concerned that the Europa league is looming. And I'm also concerned we may be falling into the old AVB routine of having lots of possession, but creating very little.
Having said that, if the next round of fixtures goes our way, it'll all be rosey again.

Tactically and with some questionable choices made by poch, we'll dive in second half of season.
We are never be comfortable for a lot games.
Without Toby and Lloris we would lost a lot of matches at the end of second half.

Let me guess, the only way we'll stop that dive in the second half if the season, is by picking Bentaleb?

No! I still think that it will be hard for Nabil to come back. ( even if I'd like to see him play)

It's more of a problem from the choices of the line-up, the rotation, and the sub during the game :)

Well blow me backwards (y)

For what it's worth, I agree that substitutions are extremely frustrating. I'm often left scratching my head either after they're made, or whilst wondering why they weren't done sooner.

Team selection is a more difficult one to chat about, though. We aren't lucky enough to be able to see who does what in training, or who's done enough to impress Poch.

I'm sure we'd all like/prefer to see certain other players getting a game, but we have no choice but to keep putting our faith in our current manager/coach. He's got more right than wrong, and we're not sitting in 4th by coincidence or pure luck.

Hopefully he gets his head around the substitution issues, because we definitely agree on that one, and we're not the only 2 on here who do when it comes to that particular subject (y)

PS, nice one for not taking offence to my little Bentaleb jibe. It was just taking the piss :)(y)

We're not top 4 quality and we all know it. Man Utd will slowly comeback into the mix and overtake us with ease and Chelsea are very capable of getting a string of wins. No way will we finish above 5th, West Ham are looking good too.

I too don't believe we're Top 4 quality, and are there more by default than anything. in the grand scheme of things though, none of that will matter a jot if we finish there. my fear is that we won't though. even in an historically bad season for all our main rivals, we've only managed 9 wins in 21 matches. so it's either we rely on Man U and the rest still being cack, or we step it up ourselves. but then Pochettino's teams don't really have a history of picking things up in the second half of the season, and we ourselves have tended to tail off pretty badly between March and May, so I can't say I'm filled with the most amount of confidence that we'll do it, and it'll be our most disappointing (and inexcusable) failure yet if that's the case.

It is a bit worrying that West Ham are only a point behind us after a run where they went winless for 7 matches.

Shows just how much we needed to hold on to leads where we have seen wins turn into draws this season.

before last season Poch never had a record of winning games once his team went 1-0 down, that changed last season and hopefully he can change the falling away record.

Also young side or not, sometimes the best team loses.

We were the better side in any case. Would of been more worrying had they beaten us comprehensively and deservedly. Now that would of been concerning.

We move on and hopefully take it out on Sunderland tomorrow.

Yep. It's a massive game and it's a game Im sure we'll win.

I'm actually quite calm about our top 4 chances to be honest. I mean if we can't win at home for the 3rd game in a row against weaker teams that will sit, defend and hit on the break then it's our own fault. Time to bounce back.

Under Poch we've never had more than a 3 game winning streak. That needs to change too hopefully starting tomorrow.

What does that mean?

We're not good enough for the Champions League because on this season's evidence neither are any of our teams currently playing in the CL or does that mean we don't deserve to be in the top four because we kinda do as the table doesn't lie...

All this doom-mongering is really stating to annoy me...we lost one game, a game where we played pretty well in against a really tough opponent and could have won the game such are the fine margins. That game will not define our season and we certainly aren't out of the running for the top four or the title. There's plenty of games to be played and this season has proved that anythin can happen, so whilst I appreciate people not getting ahead of ourselves and bemoaning the typical 'Spursy' way in which our seasons tend to unfold, chill the fuck out, a win on Saturday and this place is buzzing again.
