Tottenham ‘reach agreement’ to sign Milan midfielder ‘immediately’

Tottenham have reached an agreement with AC Milan to bring Franck Kessie to north London in January but there could be a hold up. Spurs can now sign him ‘immediately’ if the midfielder agrees to leave Milan for north London part way through the season but it is understood that Kessie would ideally wait until the end of the campaign as Milan have a chance of Scudetto glory.

Milan have reportedly offered the Ivory Coast international a salary of £5.4million a year but Kessie has so far resisted all offers of an extension. He is now free to sign a pre contract agreement.

Weird logic. Ndombele presumably thought he was too good for us but proved completely the opposite. Kessie apparently wants to see the season out and most probably didn't fancy missing out on an Italian league medal. Nothing to say he doesn't fancy a move thereafter though is there?

Well, the report I read was that he wasn't interested in moving to Spurs. Didn't say now or in the summer to be fair, but not really weird logic IF he's not interested in us is it. But, there's so many conflicting stories flying around at the minute, hard to tell.
