Tottenham watched Villarreal defender Pau Torres on Tuesday night during his side's Champions League defeat to Liverpool. The 25-year old, who is one of the most sought-after centre backs in Europe and has a buy out clause set at £55million, has been on Tottenham's wanted list for the past two years but resisted their attempts to sign him last year as he wanted to play for a Champions League club.

I watched him too. If the brief is to sign a slow defender with a few mistakes in him, he will fit the bill perfectly.

Don't think that Conte ever made a bad CB signing, if he wants him then fine.

Pau Torres is pure class,
don't know who these lot been watching
Watched him twice against Liverpool. Granted you won't play a team of that class every week, but nothing I saw in him makes me think he's the top quality defender we would need.

So you never watched the Man Utd v Villarreal final couple season ago,
he was the best player on the pitch by miles

That's a couple of seasons ago. And United have not been all that for a long while.

Don't see how he's worth more to us than LoCelso is to them tbh. Wouldn't be near the top of my list anyway but there's obviously going to be some discussions.

it was last season, UTD not all that , they kick our ass twice this season,
Once maybe and thankfully got rid of Nuno for us. We were the better side at theirs, unfortunately they had Ronaldo to score a hat trick.
