Tottenham are ready to make a convincing offer for Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni, hoping to beat Manchester City to the punch.

The Nerazzurri will be forced to sell one top player this summer in order to help balance their accounts and many players have been linked with moves away in recent months, like Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar. At the time being, however, Bastoni seems likely the most likely to be sold.

I don't see this one being straight forward. We don't have the best of luck getting signings over the line when sat round the table with Inter.

Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar being more recent examples of Inter's resolve. From memory, we were however lucky enough to snare Nicole Berti!

Why can I see Chelsea looking at this deal from a great height and beginning to circle? W@nk£rs!

I've always wondered how the fuck would they know if we're ready to make am offer?

Like we sat around a board meeting table for the last few months debating whether Bastoni would be a good investment.

Then after coming to their conclusion.

They decide to Notify Football Italia that they're ready to make an offer.

Funny old game!

I've heard from a club insider that the Spurs hierarchy are livid that news of their 400th target for this summer has yet again been leaked to the media. Chairman Daniel Levy raged "I just don't know how this keeps happening. It's exactly what we didn't want to happen".

Would be an incredible signing but I expect its just agent talk and he will end up at inter or Madrid.

I love transfer time:
  • 90% watching, monitoring, considering making an offer, ready to make an offer, making contract, readying the offer, literally ready to press the button on the fax machine.
  • 1% making the fucking offer.
  • 9% everyone feeling miserable that the offer didn't succeed.
