Tottenham’s managerial search will resume after Sunday's clash with Leeds with Ange Postecoglou, Luis Enrique and Ruben Amorim now in the spotlight.

After the failure to agree an exit fee with Feyenoord for Arne Slot – Spurs were led to believe it would be £5m, Feyenoord wanted £17m – there is no immediate end in sight, with Spurs having insisted Slot was but one candidate on a longer list.

I think Luis Enrique would be a great choice. He seemed a bit out of his depth at Barcelona (even after winning the CL), but he clearly learned a lot during that time and by the time he became coach of Spain he had already turned into a very good and competent coach. I've been very impressed by the way Spain played under him.

He doesn't seem to be much of a unifying figure. He's going to be as abrasive as Jose and Conte with the media and that will mean he will get less leeway with the fans

He plays more attacking and possession based football than either of those though (mind you, I'm not one of those who have any problem with the way Mourinho and Conte approach football, I really enjoyed the football we played under Mou at times), I think most fans would be delighted with his footballing style.

I'm not concerned about the football I was referring more to his personality.

He's not a guy that is able to get people on board with him through charisma. He demands respect and when it's not given he will develop siege mentality.
